I know growing up as an igboman masquerades dance and money is sprayed on them from our tradition, dating back to our ancestors, so this is part of our culture. I also noticed that these days the high-life yoruba musicians are sprayed money when they sing. I don't know if this is also part of yoruba culture or it was adopted from the igbo culture .
