All I can say is that I watched on NatGeo Wild, last year, where a full grown matured tigress (that gave birth to a tiger that had grown almost her size i.e the tigress already had a child that was a full grown adult tiger) ventured to close to a pride, although stealthily, was noticed by the the lion of the pride and got killed by the single lion in a matter of less than five minutes.

This argument is always unending because God in His infinite wisdom didnt place the 2 beasts in the same forest. In d wild, these beasts can never meet talk less of a natural fight.

They are so different in their strengths and weaknesses. All lions and all tigers dont have the same fighting power so picking 1 domesticated lion and another tiger randomly for a staged fight still doesnt solve the puzzle.

My final take is that considering all things are equal in terms of age, weight, etc in the wild and the lion goes to the natural solitary territory of the tiger the latter will win. If the same tiger strays to the open habitat of the lion surely the lion is a winner.

Why? Because God didnt create them to fight each other.

Why are you mentioning god in something you know nothing about, just because you dont know anything about them, how doesnt god? They did co-exist in india for thousands of years, in the middle east for thousands of years, in many other places. And the lion was always reported to have won. They are not different under the skin, they are the two closes species of any genus. Take away their skin and they are nearly identical, every scientist who has dissected them has stated this.

The lion would win in both cases, solitary or his natural wild state of having the pride.

and we talking africa lion not asian mountain lion which is the size of a leopard. A tiger has so many factors working for it, it does well in deep forest and wide grass, while the lion does well only in open space that is wide grass. But a tiger wont ever have that opportunity cause they are of different habitat and a lions pride wont even give the tiger to have a one on one face off with the dominant male

Yes, a leopard hasnt been documented killing a lionesses in the wild, because they live in groups, even in captivity none are killed, this shows the lioness has alot more fighting skill than any tiger would, sorry, but you living in denial that those leopards didnt kill those tigers is just that. Denial.

Stop making up lies. Leopards kill tigers, wild dogs kill tigers, lions are 1 to 2 feet taller at the shoulder and heavier on average. Tigers are just noted the largest because they are longer than lions. Lions also have killed tigers in the wild 1 on 1. Many indian naturalist back the Asiatic lion against the bengal tiger and you aint even indian.

They inhabit different habitats, but that doesn't mean they can't meet naturally in the wild.

Factors that can make them meet include:

1. Source of water
2. Prey
3. Weather condition and changes....etc
