Statement From H.e. Olusegun Obasanjo Regarding The Shooting Of His Son Lt. Col. by Kaymoney5296: 4:29pm On Sep 11, 2014 |
H.E. Olusegun Obasanjo has made a statement regarding the news that his son, a serving Lieutenant Colonel in the Nigerian Army has been injured while leading a platoon in fighting Boko Haram militants in north-eastern Adamawa state. President Obasanjo is happy to announce that he has spoken to Adeboye and that he is recuperating well in hospital. President Obasanjo has stated that this is a prime example of why Nigerians and Africans in General need to work together to tackle Boko Haram and other extremist organizations. The victims of such organizations are already numerous and if something is not done to tackle this menace future victims could be our own son’s and daughters. 1 Like |

Randy100: Who cares so many soldiers have died cos of this boko haram. Is it because this one bears obasanjo as his surname How many of our so called leaders would allow his son to go to the war front without lobbying for him to remain idle in the barracks? If OBJ has chosen to be exceptional, please give him the credit. 2 Likes |

Randy100: is ok but i just dont like how they are stressing the whole thing.I think your grievances should be addressed to the Nigerian press instead. The overhyping is from them. They're the one overflogging it. Mind you, its a great headline for them if u must know. A son of a former President. Nor be read u too wan read am wey make u click am, if u nor get interest why open the thread. Same reason for u to have picked interest in opening this particularly thread is the same reason for the news reportage. If you get the logic. |
