Na waa oh my pple. no be only abia I got the same picture when I visited my city Lagos state , my guest from Europe was shocked the refuse dump and bad drainage system in our commercial capital. Which way naija?

Same scenario is near one of the biggest church in Africa at ikotoegbe in Lagos state. The drain is almost blocked with dust and litters. They can't see that their core problem lies in their surroundings and that if they can take note of that,they won't be needing Jesus or Mohammad anymore,because their long weary eyes will be open.

Even need have workers that takes care of rubbish in their hives non stop.

Op, I appreciate your concern for this. Thanks for pointing out this anomaly in this society. The funny thing is have you ever noticed the look on people's faces when you try to correct them? They have this "duh. . .this is Nigeria where anything goes look". Later, the same set of people will cry foul when their places are flooded. Sometimes, the problems don't lie with the government, we the populace also partake in creating problems for ourselves.

The only thing we can do as concerned citizens is to show them the folly of their actions and make them change in our own little ways.
