I think the chopper repeatedly flying so close to the structure definitely had an impact....but then that would mean that the structure itself wasn't so well put together.

Don't use xristianity or spirituality to promote stupidity. An air craft flying over a building will make the building collapse just like that? no evidence of explosive dropping from the air craft. What assurance is there to prove that it is the same air craft that came back 3 times? This is very silly.
17 lives lost just for some stupid act and above the law activities of a vudu man disguising as a man of God.
Lagos state govt must react and investigate this man for contravening the building election law. Of no doubt, substandard materials were used in the construction and probably quack contractors and builders. If he can fool his numerous gullible followers with such cocktail and bull story, he can't fool the rest of Nigerians. I will be happy to hear of his prosecution.

Acidosis good day to u. I also stated it on the other thread that through out my years in naija. I have never seen an helicopter fly more than once around me. Even during elections they just hoover around places but not along a particular area. If u see it a second time then something is fishy. A third time " be worried". A fourth time" then there is trouble ". Especially not in an area like Ikotun. I can count how many planes pass in a day not to talk of helicopter. If na Ikeja I would say airport things, if na island I would say helicopter is carrying rich people or dignitaries to their destination. But Ikotun. Wetin in dey find. Four times. That is not a coincidence.

well a few months back will be the second time I experienced such. The second one happened around my area and is similar to this.. There was something going on in MFM HQ so there was traffic.. From my balcony I saw an helicopter come from no where.. Came closer to the roof of the church .. It was even closer than this one that happened in ikotun.. It hovered around.. Went back and came around for some mins.. Then it left did that for a number of time.. I found out it landed in an open field in unilag .. There could have also been a probability that a person needed to make a landing in ikotun axis and was looking for a space to land .. cos there is no heliport in that area.. Not even in my area.
We must not approach this issue selecting sides. rather considering all possibilities.. That's what thinkers are supposed to do.. Am not discrediting the helicopter case cos its also a valid scenario to be brought forward.. While we wait for more developments we there are some questions to be asked and steps taken

Also check if it matches the said missing military jet.. If not it must be stated.

From the video it does look like a controlled demolition .. If it were to be the craft that dropped a bomb it won't blow in that sequence.. If it was really a controlled demolition the way it fell looks like something done from within.. The foundations and pillars.. So our answers will still lie on the foundation.. If there was a bomb in the building then certainly there are insiders in the church.. from there we watch as it unfolds
But for me.. The chopper could have been looking for where to land. the sound and vibration prompted the building with a weak foundation to fall.. I will wait to see as the case unfolds.

Good and logical thinking............ but only a weak building being constructed by a shylock TB Joshua could have collapsed due to vibration from an aircraft like a pack of cards as the video shows.

in my own oppinion i dont think that aircraft has anything to do with it because when u look closely u will observe that the plane did not even touch the building but GOD knows best

harizonal123: Take a look at the last time the aircraft flew around the building and the part of the building that depressed most during the collapse. It could be an attack. U can't rule that out with the helicopter hovering so close. Just keep your minds open as u watch

It could be a laser attack.

An aircraft can bring down another aircraft many kilometers away without firing anything visible to the eyes..

Not to talk of a building right underneath it..

I know this the main hospital in vienna has a helicopter place that they can bring a sick person direct to the hospital and nothing happen, they come sometimes 10 times a day.

All our big hospital have this and nothing like this happen.

I reside in beach channel dr which is very close to JFK and I get to see planes that are about taking off or landing at every 5mins interval flying so low above my apartment with a deafening sound yet all the buildings In my neighborhood are still standing and I start wondering why will TBJ's building collapse after an aircraft passed through it just 4times when more than 100 planes fly so low across were I leave on a daily basis yet no single building has collapsed as a result of vibration?

Seems the foundation of the building was resting on a stool.

An attack is possible but a structural defect seems more like it.
The attack theory is just too simplistic.
