please could anyone be kind enough to post a comprehensive baby things (as in things to get/buy before baby arrives) thank you so much.

Congratulations on your pregnancy and delivery in advance.

You will need the following things:

baby clothes- buy a few small ones for newborn because babies grow fast, then buy other sizes.
baby soap
sponge
diapers
wipes
muslin squares for spit ups
bath tub
combs
cutton wool and spirit for the navel
vaseline
baby lotion
towel
blankets
shawl
dryer
clothe pins
caps
socks
crib/cot
mosquito net
flask (not compulsory except you will be storing hot water)
bottles and formula (if you are not going to breastfeed but breastfeeding is highly recommended)


NB: you need to prepare for the sleepless nights

penicillin ointment
olive oil
baby bag
dettol
sweater
shoes
And to take for yrself to the hospital:
beverages
tissue
sanitary pads

yr soap and sponge
