Just got an email from Quickteller. The extract is here:

Please be informed that transfers to and from Ecobank have temporarily been disabled from Quickteller (across all channels). 

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. You will be notified as soon as it becomes available again.

However, you may continue to use Quickteller to pay your bills and buy airtime as these are not affected.

I was trying to do a transfer but it didn't work . I got the message too

Quick teller knows best for taking such action.

I suspect Ecobank is going down.
which business in its flourishing state will suspend quickteller!?

Little wonder I struggled and failed several times in the morning when sending to Ecobank. Unfortunately my money was debited each time I tried. I have written my bank to refund all the deductions that happened on Quickteller while transferring to Ecobank today.

May be not because Gtbank also stopped Quickteller transfer from GTB account since January ending except for airtime recharge, bill payments and such like. But GTB can receive anyway; online they stopped being the source for transfers to other accounts.
