The One Plus One 2014 Flagship Killer

I wanted to get a Nexus 5 but on seeing the review of the One Plus One (OPO), I had to change my mind, though OPO is a new phone by a startup company, i fell in love with the Specs of the OPO.

Had to wait from March till July when the phone was officially lunched.
After the phone was lunched, the Invite system was the method One Plus adopted before you can purchase the phone this is because ONEPLUS is a
startup company and they need to control the the demand for the phone

The invite system prolonged my waiting period for another 2 months.I Participated in contests, begged for invites all to no avail. Finally , Mid Augusti got an invite before i finally laid my hand on the Chinese Machine. I have been using it for about 3 weeks now. The speed (3GB RAM and 64GB Storage), elegance, cant be campared. The camera quality is 13MP back and 5MP front is as clear as crystal.

The Gaming on the Phone is WOW. The 5.5 Screen makes u love quality games on the OnePlus. The 3GB memory dosnt limit ur gaming.

But at the end of it all, it was worth the wait. A phone with that spec should be worth almost 2ce the price. I have ordered 2 more 64GB OPO machines more for my friends who saw it and fell in love with it.

Its not just a phone but a computer and a Phone.

Am rocking my OPO all the way.

Great device, got the sandstone 64gb version. Good thing you did not opt for the Nexus 5 (great device, unfortunately with terrible inconsistent battery life)..

71K might seem a lot, but for what th you are getting in terms of hardware and performance, it's a steal. This phone is lightening FAST!!, runs everything thing you throw at it without any slow down, you get a Beautiful 1080p screen , Gorilla glass 3, 3GB Ram, Snapdragon 801, Adreno 330 GPU,Cyanogenmod customisations (vanilla droid and some) and a monstrous 3100 battery that easily last a day and half on light to normal use.. Cyanogenmod has promised 18 month support as well so when Android L drops anytime some, this device will not be left out..

It's worth noting there is no sd card support or removable battery, that's not an issue for me anyway, I don't carry a lot of media files and I lived with a 16gb Nexus 5 without worrying about storage and am used to embedded batteries anyway. It's a 5.5 inch phone, so we are talking Note territory here, still slim and easy to handle. Again if you like phones with UI overlay like touchwiz and co, it's not for you, then again you can purchase theme packs from Cyanogen store that can give you S5, LG look plus many more.

The Chinese are really stepping up their game seriously, offering phones with hardware at prices unheard of before. Xiaomi, Meizu, Opo, Huawei and a lot more we haven't even heard off.The big android OEMS like HTC, Samsung, LG, Sony will surely be having sleepless nights..

For Geeks who like tinkering with android, you can't beat this beast of a phone.

I waited since March was just checking the website, But didnt know i was to register on the forum invite till July before i register. I was member #60341. finally got my invite by August 10.

it cost me that much ( Phone, protective cover and leather Flip casing inclusive) cos initially Paypal didnt accept Nigerian Billing Address and US shipping address, so i had to pay someone to help make the payment. I have made over 14 orders from Oneplus since then but can now pay directly from Nigeria. But every dime spent on it is worth it. I have used it for over a month now and it still feels great.

I just got extra invites to purchase the 64 GB Oneplus One Running on CyanogenMod directly from OnePlus. Anyone interested could contact me. I can equally help purchase the Oneplus one if you cant go through the stress of ordering and shipment.

Difference between this phone and Xiaomi mi3 is not much.

Xioami is more popular, I go for Xiaomi.

Although mi4 is better than this but the price of OPO is too high if you ask me.

The turn around time of their Customer service isnt so efficient as expected, but most of the ones i have bought so far have no issue.I have bought over 12 so far. As i just got 2 more this morning.

In my case, i wanted to use a phone that isnt so common and thats why i opted for the Oneplus
