I have virtually used a couple of window phones and I don't seem to find anything great about it.. It has a boring UI which I don't like..
Imagine its app list, just vertical scrolling and looks lame..
It z not too customizable like other OS..
Its not like it have a lot of apps ooo..
So tell me, What's so special about the Windows Phone??
Because in my opinion, that OS z empty and wack compared to Android, iOS and BB

dude you have little intuition. You talking about a game of 1.2 Gb like its a big deal, you need to play Galaxy on fire for android its around 2.6GB. But thats not it. I'm talking about a small online game called avatar world online. I play for hours on the 630, but on the M7 it freezes after about 20 mins it annoyed me. Also same for six guns on the 630 plays better with no dropped frames at all but on the M7 you can see it stutter when you move your character

Recently, I thought of getting the lumia 1020, but I'm scared I would dump it like others..

sorry to correct you the windows phone store has around 300k apps while bb app world has around 75k both on os 10 and lower

. bb10.2 supports Apk files. Nw u cn use all android apps on BlackBerry. Nd with bb10.3 coming in lyk 2 months. The android appstore (amazon) comes to BlackBerry officially. So BlackBerry has more apps than windows phone 8

It will not.amazon stores has less than 255k android apps while windows phone store has close to 400k apps.windows apps store increases with 500 apps per day.

And bb10 runs Apk. So there r oda appstore usable aside from amzon app store eg snap(google play client with over 1 mil apps). Or we can download our apps in apks from any website that has it. Same way we download our mp3s from anywhere.

Appears the OP is using a Windows Phone 7.xx device to make his informed opinion . . .

With my WP8.1, it has been bliss so far. The upcoming unification of of all windows platform with Windows 10 will be a game changer . . . .
