sw photographers dont tour like this, not sure why.

such pictures and festivals should be easily accessible and available to the public. These kind of things are good for tourism.

Besides that, it keeps evolving, to match the times.. Yoruba is dynamic.. proudly, omo oduduwa.. Omo ijesha ni mere..
tobtap:
the yoruba culture is the most dynamic of african cultures...it has survived slavery on another continent yet...it has spurned new religions and it the major african culture/religion on three continents...

They look like (though I could be wrong) appear to be some kind of giant Piranha... I am by no means a fish expert, so take what I say not super seriously.

Lol I actually saw a documentary of it.

You are right, I didn't think that Piranhas were native to West Africa. I know it's South America mainly only. Sadly, I'm not a Marine Biologist, I'm a Computer Scientist, but I do enjoy learning about marine wildlife / sealife cheesy
Re: A Photographic Tour Of Southwest Nigerian Peoples by itstpia8: 4:45am On Jan 10, 2016
Its interesting, doesnt seem like Nigeria/west Africa has much of that though, we dont hear about marine wildlife there.

I think it's all government fault, Our government have always been interested in the oil below the seabed only, and virtually neglected the robust sea life within our international waters.
