Nigeria Doesn't Need A Broke Man As President: Muhammadu Buhari Lacks Financial Management Skill

To the Buharists, the only reason why Buhari "borrowed money" and purchased his presidential form is because he has no money. Why? Because he didn't loot public fund as a former Head of State unlike others.

This opinion held by the Buharists shows how gullible and myopic they are. One doesn't need to be corrupt or loot public fund so as to be able to vie for elective positions or be very rich. All it requires for one to have streams of income are shrewdness, business acumen and financial management skill.

These are what Buhari lacks. Or how can one explain why a man that have held many important positions, served in different capacities as listed below, collected salaries for several years and pensions till date, yet he had to borrow money to buy form for his election?

For the records:

1. Buhari was listed in the army in 1962 and was retired in 1985;
2. Chairman Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC (June 1978 – July 1978)
3. Federal Commissioner for Petroleum and Natural Resources (March 1976 – June 1978)
4. Governor of North-Eastern State of Nigeria (August 1975 – March 1976)
5. 7th Head of State of Nigeria (December 31, 1983 – August 27, 1985)
6. PTF Head (1994-1998) under Abacha's regime

In all sincerity, can anyone hold these positions as Buhari did, and still maintains that he is broke? Maybe, the person is reckless spender. If Buhari is this broke, then how will he repay the loan? How will he fund his campaign if he had to borrow money for form? How many banks has Buhari ruined with unhealthy loans in his endless quest for power since 2003?

Buhari is not ashamed of himself. He has lost three times for the same position and now, he wants to borrow money to contest against a man that was just 26 years when he was in power.

It was a mistake (Military Rule) that made a man like Buhari to rule Nigeria. He can never rule Nigeria again because from all indications, he can't manage himself. How can he then manage Nigeria! Or must one loot public fund to be rich?

Nigeria doesn't need a broke man as President.

Say NO to this supporter of APC!

Make i book space, i go come bash you later. >MODIFIED< OP, why art thou forget so soon that once upon a time bros walked on bare foot because he has no shoe. What are you telling me, though i never for once supported APC but sir covey once said (change is constant) so letz give buhari a chance and see what he will like to change, because all NIGERIAN STATES excluding osun state supported bros GEJ HOPING for change, but he dissapointed us. Even the so called supporter of APC STATE eko fashola, supported him hoping to see sunshine at dawn but he never performed to the peoples expectation. Only time we tell.

Yes, a poor man cannot rule this nation; so says APC. If not, their presidential form wouldn't have been N27m.

Another "buhari took a loan to buy declaration form" thread. I must say I am shocked by the spectacular lack of intelligence you TANdroids and Jonathanians are displaying. Is it not obvious what you are doing in your desperation to blacken Buhari? You mumuish olodos do not even know your own Country and people !!!

What got GEJ into Aso Rock in 2011 if not the "boy with no shoes" ruse Nigerians bought hook, line and sinker in their millions? Many Nigerians voted for GEJ because they connected with the idea he is a modest and ordinary man, just like them, who would be able to identify with and fight for the average Nigeria.

Now you cretins are actually sabotaging your corrupti messiah (GEJ) and giving GMB free "boy with no shoes" publicity through your obsession with attacking him over taking a loan to pay for his nomination form. Nigerians, even better than the "boy with no shoes" ruse, will simply see GMB as "man with no money". They know that Buhari, LIke OBJ, IBB Abacha, Danjuma, Atiku and GEJ, was in a position to steal massively plus build hilltop mansion and bank billions of dollars. Yet Buhari had to struggle to pay an amount that local government chairmen in Nigeria give their mistresses to go shopping in London. Now, desperate olodo Jonathanians, tell me how this will resonate with Nigerians? TANmumu jokers, all this garbage you are writing is for the bitter, educated Jonathanains like yourself. The average Nigerians on the ground will love that Buhari struggled to pay, for his form, an amount virtually all your leaders carry in the glove box of their cars to settle the praise singers they come across daily

Good Intention?
How do you judge a man's Intention?
How was the economy during his regime?
Did he have respect for the rule of law?

In fact, the stunt to appear broke, attract sympathy and borrow for a nomination form is the dumbest strategy of a crying baby. . where you have rich billionaires (who lavish hundreds of millions at owambe) at your beck and call. It is even implicating to other stakeholders on how they got their wealth. Did you see Atiku developing cold feet?
. Oshiomhole can buy 5 of those forms without batting an eyelid.
. Okorocha can purchase 8 of those forms as a wedding gift.
Amaechi can buy 10 of those forms to just spite Goodluck.
Fashola can purchase 20 of those forms without removing his hand from his pocket.
Ha, Tinubu go just ...

Why cant 10 of them contribute N3m each and get their man a form? ..instead of flawing a bank's credit process?

When will these deceits stop?

The Op's mentality is one of the most devastating of our citizens. When they say Nigerians embolden and encourage her political elite to fleece them, this is exactly what that means. Here's someone insulting the General because, according to him, the General occupied such positions that would have made him one of the wealthiest in the country, yet is no where near the 10,000th richest man in the country. It has become a shameful thing and perhaps a crime not to be corrupt and enrich oneself through corrupt means in Nigeria!!

I can't imagine what dangerous children our generation would be raising as we approach the point where we assume leadership positions in this country. Imagine giving the op a position of leadership tomorrow, that organisation would be done for!!

Smh.

mind you he inherited that poor economy from shagari
military regime is characterized by such, locking up people without trial then was to purge corrupt politicians

What happened to all the salaries he was paid when he occupied these offices?
what of the allowances? The emoluments, the severance packages?
what of his salary till date as a former head of state?

Does it mean He couldn't Invest any?
He couldn't set up streams of Income that will generate millions for him?

It doesn"t really matter if Buhari is rich or poor, what matters most is his religous idealogy which half the country is afriad off.
Left for me,I will even vote the most poorest president who I know is capable of turning things around for good.
Nigeria is sitting on the keg of gun powder should Buhari win the next general eletion.

civil servants who earned far lesser salaries were able to build houses, start up business that generate incomes for them.

if a former head of state couldn't Invest all the salaries, allowances and emolument he was paid to generate incomes and afford 20 million, he is a failure! We don't need a failure!

Oga shut up. I know your type. Why don't you query Jonathan whose decisions as the current president affects you more than Buhari?? Have you ever bothered to question how much jonathan has and if he earned same legitimately?? What's you people's obsession with the General. In the last three days over half of the threads that have landed this board from jonathanians are AGAINST Buhari. Is that how to sell a candidate?? Are you folks not supposed to be ENLIGHTENING people as to the reason why jonathan shouldn't be sent back to Otuoke but rather retained in Aso Rock?? Isn't that how to sell a product??

The only reason behind this highly disgraceful writeup is because the General chose to live within his means. Can you point out a SINGLE, I mean just ONE, politician whose wealth you can confidently say was genuinely earned?? Least of all is the guy from Otuoke who had no shoes but can now buy shoes and shirts for 12million TANoids.

I just pray foreigners don't get to read this trash.
