Ok, but in pronunciation, you will let people know the tense you were indicating to them.

For instance now "Read" is pronounced as "Red", this will help your audience know that your were referring for the past tense.

But in the case of "Put", what will you say?

You can only pronounce read as red while making a speech or talking generally but you can't write it as red in a sentence

Quite easy Bro, Just indicate when the action take place. Example: I actually put my beautiful cup on that table few minutes ago, yesterday or hundred millions years ago, a nairalander must have taken it. Easy Peasy

....so one must be in campus b4 one would know the past tense of 'put'?.....so dull....'put' is the past tense of 'put'....whoever argues this BOUGHT his WAEC certificate.....you can actually emphasize the past tense form of put using auxiliary verbs in their past tense form like have, did etc...EG...Have put,Did put etc.....about the colours......the opposite of pink is brown......METHOD USED IN GETTING ANSWER....red[primary colour]+white=pink.......red+black[opposite of white in the above mixture]=brown...NOTE...In finding opposites of a tertiary colour, only the primary colour should be constant in the mixture...example:red is constant in the colour mix above....the secondary colour and its likely opposite should then be mixed with the primary colour to achieve opposites of the tertiary colour..eg white/black in the above example.....as for the other two colors, their opposites are correct....Nawa o!...no course easy o....not even the underrated fine arts department...
