I notice that syncing with email is not as straight forward as in android. As anybody transfered contacts from BB to Android without using email?

Easy, look for a contact transfer android app I have forgotten the name, it works with Bluetooth connectivity connect them and import the contacts.

Go to "Settings> Wireless & networks> Bluetooth Settings"

Check the box next to "Bluetooth"

Check the box next to "Visible" in order for the device to
be detected by the BlackBerry.

Pair devices from your BlackBerry

From the BlackBerry home screen, click on: Options
> Networks and Connections> Bluetooth Connections.

Turn Bluetooth On

In "Paired Devices", click on "Add a new device", then
click on "Search" and your Android should be detected.

Select your Android device and click on Submit to
prompt your device.

Transfer all your contacts via Bluetooth

On your BlackBerry go to "Paired devices" now appears
and select your Android phone.

Press the BlackBerry button and select "Transfer contacts"

Authorize the Bluetooth access on the Android device
and wait for the transfer to be completed.

Bros why u want liv Q5?

Personally I sold my Q5 because of excessive data consumption.The thing drains data far worse that android and there appears to be no way to reduce it after all my search online.If I can find a solution I'd want one again cos I like the OS.
