I just tried sharing to someone a few minutes ago and i was told I had gotten to my maximum 10 shares per plan.

CoderXO told me MTN was bound to stop this sooner or later. I told him I can only see them putting restrictions. Lo and behold, just 2 or 3 weeks after we spoke, it has happened lipsrsealed

Just called luluosas. About to call EnterPro. Make we know whats up oo

How many people will be able to pay for 1G! I think the only manageable plan for now is to sell 500MB, 750MB and 1G.
Minimum sales will now be 1GB period

500mb at 600 when you are restricted to 10 sims?? How would you make up for the remaining balance??

The unnecessary ridiculous price slash by resellers caused this!
Apparently, no one can sell below 1gb at a time with this latest development. And it won't make sense to buy any plan more than 10gb anymore since one can only share 10times per plan purchased.

You can't say that for sure octavo.

In a capitalist system of market there is always bound to be freedom of price. Even Mtn understands this.

To me I feel the problem is that we are in a country where an Organization can just come out, change rules or policy without properly notifying her customers and they will work away with it. Even our lawyers are not helping matters. You cant pay them a token to sue a company even when its apparently clear that they have much to benefit.

Now is not the time to trade complains or blames. Every wise business man should know that anything is bound to happen in business. And should prepare well.
Now its time to discuss the way forward for the different set of people.

1. The set of people that have about 30 - 75 gig
2. Those with 1- 30gig
3. Those yet to renew their subscription
4. Those who just renewed.

Solutions
Looking at all possible ideas there are only 3 ways to go about this and anything aside this three is just futile.

1. Sue Mtn
2. Plead with NCC or Mtn to let us finish our current Data and then give us a set date after which the new system will kick off.
3. Ask Ncc to force Mtn to re-compensate Us.
4. Sell 10GB only at 1Gb per user and at a Higher price.

Let's just say DataStrike just started and we need a Nigerian Data Congress with a president, protest and lodge a complain.

Really? But I use it on my phone (and a few times on my modem) and it doesn't take away from my credit.

Currently I am on the 4.5GB night plan but the latest development dey pain me. After introducing more than 7 customers to luluosas, those mofos decides to pay me in my own coin. I hate mtn but i can't do without them. Other networks are not helping matters. Glo an indigenous telecom company should have being doing us favor but nah. They are all these. Bitchhhes ain't loyal at all.

@ymodulus ur first 3 solution wldnt work. Firstly and foremostly, mtn never said the plan was for ppl to buy and resell instead twas for small and medium enterprise to share data to its work force. How are you going to proof to the court that the over 100 ppl u have shared data to AR part oof your work force. Where did you register the business... Sueing is a dead end and so is the other 2 options. Sell in 1gb and above.. My only question is this.... Is the 10 shares restricted to the 10gb plan or does it cut across the length of the plan?

There are more ways and loopholes to exploit.

Even at that we can still exploit it. Now we can act as activist fighting for a course asking Mtn not to wrongly penalize this business owners.

Mtn up till now have not updated their website

What i see on the site is 10gb for N10k http://www.mtnbusiness.com.ng/sme/datashare

That means for you guys to make a profit it has got to be something like 1gb for N1,500. Not too bad huh?

Etisalat and Glo data share nko?

Myself I've since solved my data problems by buying Blackberry Z3 two months ago. Now i enjoy dirt cheap 3gb for N1k using my Glo sim on it, sharing the data with other devices via hot spot.

O.M.G. I really pity my fellow nigerians.

Here, we buy mtn data plan (for all mobile phone). At a very cheap price.

The monthly plan is in two phases

1. Golden- which goes for 20 pounds = 990 naira
2. Platinum- which goes for 60 pounds = 2970 naira ( mostly for those that watch videos online)

Mind u- they are all unlimited and work on android phones.

I hope mtn ng wud pity us.

They wouldn't help us at all...If the government herself could scam the citizen 1k each for immigration recruitment exercise and nothing is being done on it till now, tell me who would talk to the telecommunication company to regulate their price?

Just sold my first 1gb at 1200. My thoughts were the backlogs of shares would count into the 10 shares limit but obviously it didn't. Had to subscribe the 10gb plan in order to share. Still have a backlog of data hopefully sum1 would get 2gb or higher... If life gives you lemon make lemonade.

Hi. Please I just got a BB10 and I want to use a Glo sim for the phone. I can't access the internet. I think something is wrong with the APN settings. Tried calling Glo customer care and they have not been picking up. Can you please tell me what to do? And what plan should I subscribe for? Somebody suggested COMONTH.

Thanks.
