I hope those bible answered your question? Or you want to go over to who really made the law?
. The bible verses showed that the laws are orginally made by God not Moses. Or do you have another idea of who made the laws

Bro, unless one's eyes opened via revelation, one can't grasp the massive gulf that exists between the two worlds of the law and grace.

I don't keep ONE law; I only live as led by the Holy Spirit. Christ has fulfilled the physical laws and ordinances.

So you are now running around just to make it look like i didn't teach you anything?

That's the trait of those that can stick to man-made doctrines. Those that will run from "is" to "was" and back to "is" just to remain solidly behind their man made doc.

For you to stand out as a true Christian, you don't stand with any man or pastor against the truth. You don't use "miandish" words to dodge the truth.

It's all by revelation. Once you get it, your life never remains the same. The law was only our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ, so we could be justified by faith. Now that we have faith, the law becomes obsolete and unnecessary.

Don't know why we want to prove we are more righteous than Christ!

People like Olaadegbu, Bidam, Image123, Alwaystrue and other law teachers on this forum are part of the Babylon church (confused church) and they will stand for Grace on one side and the next time, they go to the law, promoting obedience to the law instead of obedience to the faith (of the Son of God). Ola is the worst of them all. I already know all the scriptures they will quote to advocate keeping the law but ask them, do they keep the "whole" law? They will tell you, some are sacrificial and some ceremonial etc. But nowhere does scripture made such distinction - the law is a whole package. As a matter of fact, the 10 commandment is part of the whole that is abolished.

@Ukutsgp

God's Word speaks of two great laws. Law number 1 is the law of God ( the Ten Commandments, or Two tablets of the Testimony,) also known as the moral law and the Decalogue. Law number 2 is the Law of Moses (the “Book of the Law,” or “Book of the Covenant”), also known as the Mosaic Law, the Ordinances and the Ceremonial Law.

The ceremonial law was for Israel alone as the Gospel did not go to the Gentiles for 3.5 years after Jesus died on the cross. The perfect sacrifice of Jesus ended this whole sacrificial system once and for all, thankfully giving us no requirement to obey this law of bondage which pointed forward to the true sacrifice that saves us from our sins, which is transgression of the moral law, the Ten Commandments. When we sin now, we genuinely repent, confess our sin and through God’s grace and faith in the sacrifice of Christ, we are forgiven.
The word Sabbath in the Old Testament is applied not only to the seventh day, but to all the days of holy rest that were observed by the Hebrews, and particularly to the beginning and close of their great festivals. There is, doubtless, reference to those days in this place, since the word is used in the plural number, and the apostle does not refer particularly to the Sabbath properly so called. There is no evidence from this passage that he would teach that there was no obligation to observe any holy time, for there is not the slightest reason to believe that he meant to teach that one of the ten commandments had ceased to be binding on mankind. If he had used the word in the singular number - “the Sabbath,” it would then, of course, have been clear that he meant to teach that that commandment had ceased to be binding, and that a Sabbath was no longer to be observed. But the use of the term in the plural number, and the connection, show that he had his eye on the great number of days which were observed by the Hebrews as festivals, as a part of their ceremonial and typical law( Passover, Unleavened Bread, Day of Atonement, Pentecost and three others, which are all yearly sabbaths), and not to the moral law, or the Ten Commandments. No part of the moral law - no one of the ten commandments could be spoken of as “a shadow of good things to come.” These commandments are, from the nature of moral law, of perpetual and universal obligation.
God’s Ten Commandments are a law of liberty. James 1:25“But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.” And for further clarity James 2:11-12 reads, “For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if you commit no adultery, yet if you kill, you are become a transgressor of the law.12 So speak you, and so do, as they that shall bejudged by the law of liberty.” The Bible does not contradict itself by one moment calling the Ten Commandments a law of servitude and bondage and then call it a perfect law of liberty or freedom the next. Freedom and bondage are exact opposites. The Ten Commandments show us how to love God and man and could never be referred to as bondage or servitude.
Ten commandments was Spoken by God personally -(Exodus 20:1, 8-11), while the ceremonial laws was Spoken by Moses -(Exodus 24:3)!
Ten commandments was Written in stone by God Himself -(Exodus 31:18), while the ceremonial laws was Written by Moses hand on paper -(Exodus 24:4).
The Moral law was Placed inside the Ark of the covenant -(Deu 10:5), while the Mosaic law was Stored on the outside of the Ark -(Deu 31:26)
Breaking the Sabbath is sin -(1 John 3:4), while ceremonial sabbaths were kept because of sin -(See Leviticus)
The moral law is a law of love -(Mat 22:35-40, Isaiah 58:13-14), while the ceremonial laws were not love -(Colossians 2:14, Gal 4:9-10)
The Ten commandments is a law of liberty (freedom) -(James 1:25, 2:10-12), but the Mosaic laws were bondage -(Galatians 4:9-10, Col 2:14)
The Lord's Sabbath was established before sin -(Genesis 2:1-3), while the ceremonial sabbaths were established after sin -(Exodus 20:24)
Sabbath was made at creation -(Genesis 2:1-3), ceremonial sabbaths was made after Sinai -(Exodus 20:24)
The Sabbath is for everyone -(Mark 2:27), ceremonial sabbaths was for the children of Israel & Jews -(Read Bible)
God calls it MY Sabbath -(Exodus 31:13, Eze 20:20),while God calls ceremonial sabbaths HER sabbaths -(Hosea 2:11, Lam 1:7)
The Sabbath is eternal -(Psa 111:7-8, Isa 66:22-23), while ceremonial sabbaths Were nailed to the cross -(Col 2:14, Eph 2:15)!
These are the differences.
Jesus and His Apostles never broke the Sabbath of the Lord. It's the only day blessed by God for His worship, keep it Holy. The observance of the Sabbath was changed to sunday without the backing of the Scripture. The Catholic Church has taken the glory for that- "The authority of the church could therefore not be bound to the authority of the Scriptures, because the Church had changed...the Sabbath into Sunday, not by command of Christ, but by its own authority."(Canon and Tradition, p. 263) so digest the above quote and save your breath for productive ventures!

7: But if the ministry of DEATH, WRITTEN and ENGRAVED ON STONES, was glorious, so that the children of Isreal could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away,
8: how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious?
9: For if the ministry of CONDEMNATION had glory, the ministry of RIGHTEOUSNESS exceeds much more in glory.
10: For even what was made glorious had no glory in this respect, beacuse of the glory that excels.
11: For if what is passing away was glorious, what remains is much more glorious.
12: Therefore, since we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech_
13: Unlike Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the children of Isreal could not look steadily at the end of what was passing away.
14: But their minds were BLINDED. For until this day the same veil remains UNLIFTED in the reading of the OLD TESTAMENT, because the veil is taken away in CHRIST.
15: But even to this DAY, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their HEART.
16: Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
17: Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is LIBERTY.

Acts 18:3 So, because he was of the same trade, he stayed with them and worked; for by occupation they were tentmakers. Acts 18:4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded both Jews and Greeks.
So we see that he worked on the other days as a tentmaker...but on the Sabbath He was not. And here again we see that both Jews and Greeks are in the synagogue and on the Sabbath. Paul also is among them attending the Sabbath services. The interesting thing about this verse is that instead of the scripture saying that they attended only one or three sabbath services, it says that he was there every Sabbath persuading both Jews and Greeks.
Now if Paul was in Corinth and was reasoning in the synagogue every Sabbath, if we could find out how long he stayed in Corinth then we would know how many Sabbaths he actually attended. Let's look furthur..
Acts 18:5 (NKJV) When Silas and Timothy had come from Macedonia, Paul was compelled by the Spirit, and testified to the Jews [that] Jesus [is] the Messiah. 6 But when they opposed him and blasphemed, he shook [his] garments and said to them, "Your blood [be] upon your [own] heads; I [am] clean. From now on I will go to the Gentiles." 7 And he departed from there and entered the house of a certain [man] named Justus, [one] who worshiped God, whose house was next door to the synagogue. 8 Then Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Master with all his household. And many of the Corinthians, hearing, believed and were baptized.
9 Now the Master spoke to Paul in the night by a vision, "Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent; 10 "for I am with you, and no one will attack you to hurt you; for I have many people in this city." 11 And he continued [there] a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.
A year and six months! Finally the ruler of the synagogue was converted to Jesus and Paul was there a year and six months! So the scripture says that Paul was there every Sabbath and that he was there for a year and six months. If we counted this by our present calendar that would give us 52 Sabbaths in a year plus 26 Sabbaths in the following six months which gives us a total of 78 Sabbaths!
So we can see that the disciples observed the Sabbath and attended a Sabbath service 85 times in the book of acts alone! Again, the seventh day is called "the Sabbath" in this passage.
Now how many times do we see them meeting together on the first day? Some would cite one example in Acts 20. Let's examine the text...
Acts 20:6 (NKJV) But we sailed away from Philipp after the Days of Unleavened Bread, and in five days joined them at Troas, where we stayed seven days. Acts 20:7 Now on the first [day] of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul, ready to depart the next day, spoke to them and continued his message until midnight.
Here we see an example of the disciples gathering together on the first day of the week. There is no mention of a Sabbath being observed in this verse. Nowhere is this day called "The Sabbath". In fact, we know that Paul was ready to depart the next day. According to verse 7, Paul spoke to them a message because for this very reason.
Now some would say that coming together to 'break bread' constitutes a meeting that includes the observance of partaking in Jesus's body. But this is not true...consider this verse:
Acts 2:44 (NKJV) Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, 45 and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. 46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And God added to the assembly daily those who were being saved.
According to this scripture, breaking bread was not an uncommon thing to do on a daily basis. It was one of the customs in those days to eat their 'daily bread'. Even in Yahushua's prayer He said "Give us this day our daily bread".
So we cannot confirm that this scripture in Acts 20 is a Sabbath day observance. In fact, nowhere does it say that the first day of the week is the Sabbath. But the 7th day of the week is always called "the Sabbath" in the 'new testament.' Unless you don't believe in the New Testament, you would have to conclude that this was not a Sabbath meeting. So what was it really? Many may not realize that in scripture, a new day begins at sundown. This would mean that at sundown on 'Saturday', the first day of the week begins. This was most probably an 'after Sabbath' fellowship meal where Paul continued to speak until midnight because he wanted to get as much teaching in as possible before he departed the next day.
Nevertheless some will hang onto this one verse so that they don't have to forsake tradition and keep the true Sabbath. But you can search the scriptures from Genesis to Revelations and you will not find a single verse that says His Sabbath was changed to a different day. There is not a single verse that tells us that the Ten Commandments are not to be kept. And there is not a single verse that prophesied either of these two events occurring! In fact, the scriptures declare the seventh day to be the Sabbath in the Law, in the words of the prophets, in the writings about Jesus and in the acts of the apostles as well as in the scriptures that speak of God's kingdom.
Acts 13:42 (NKJV) So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath.
Now here is a perfect situation for Paul to tell these Gentiles "Hey just come back tomorrow, we keep the Sabbath on the first day now!" But we don't see this written anywhere in scripture.
ere is also evidence that the early disciples kept the Sabbath on the true day:
"The primitive Christians did keep the Sabbath of the Jews;.therefore the Christians for a long time together, did keep their conventions on the Sabbath, in which some portion of the Law were read: and this continued till the time of the Laodicean council."The Whole Works of Jeremey Taylor, Vol. IX, p416 (R. Heber's Edition, Vol.XII, p.416)
"The ancient Christians were very careful in the observation of Saturday, or the seventh day..It is plain that all the Oriental churches, and the greatest part of the world, observed the Sabbath as a festival...Athanasius likewise tells us that they held religious assemblies on the Sabbath, not because they were infected with Judaism, but to worship [Jesus], the [Master] of the Sabbath, Epiphanius says the same."Antiquities of the Christian Church, Vol. II, Book XX, chap. 3, Sec. 1, 66.1137, 1138
"Ambrose, the celebrated bishop of Milan, said that when he was in Milan he observed Saturday, but when in Rome observed Sunday. This gave rise to the proverb 'When you are in Rome, do as Rome does,' "Heylyn, The History of the Sabbath, 1613

There are many things the death of christ freed us from, but it seems many christians are entangling themselves again with the yoke of bondage. Gal 5:1.
The law spelt out death penalty for sabbath offenders. Does it means today that, if anyone does any work on the sabbath should be stoned to death? The answer is no. Because christ has freed us from the bondage of the law. The law of the sabbath is no longer binding on christians. Just like circumcision and other laws has been abolished in christ Jesus. We can now worship God anyday we choose to cos we are free and free indeed. Let no man judge me in sabbath and the likes.

Simple. It comes by revelation. I had argued the same way in the past. The only acceptable worship is one done in spirit and in truth.

As scripture said, the ministry of death was what was engraved in stones. That is the law of the Letter, for the letter kills but the spirit gives life. God said He will write His laws on people’s minds and hearts. It is the same law but on a different platform and viewed and understood differently. Heb. 10:16; Jer. 31:33

The law of the letter says ‘Do not kill’; the Law of the Spirit says ‘Do not hate’. Matthew 5:21-22; I John 3:15;

The law of the letter says ‘Do not commit adultery’; the Law of the Spirit says ‘Do not look lustfully at a woman’. Matt. 5:27-28

The law of the letter says ‘Do not covet’; the law of the Spirit says ‘Be content or do not envy’. James 4:2; Matthew 6:24

The law of the letter says ‘ Remember to keep the sabbath day holy’; The law of the Spirit says ‘Jesus is your Sabbath, come to Jesus you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest for I am the Lord of the Sabbath so rather than run around in fear, come to me in prayer. Love yourself enough to rest in me, rest your body, find time for family’. Matthew 11:28-29; Matthew 12:8; Hebrews 4:9

And so on.

God had to change his approach on engraving it in stones to engraving it in hearts that should be soft and understand it from the Spirit.

Kingdompartaker:

14: But their minds were BLINDED. For until this day the same veil remains UNLIFTED in the reading of the OLD TESTAMENT, because the veil is taken away in CHRIST.

Can someone please explain the scriptural verses

The key word was VEIL not testament. Everything in the Old testament has it’s corresponding Spirit meaning. There is a Spirit behind all those laws. All you need do is to ask is for help from the Spirit to tell you the purpose of it, but it’s end is LOVE. Today many still read the old testament and still do not understand that there is a whole lot behind it and because they read it with veiled eyes, the meaning is not revealed to them as only Jesus takes that awaynthe veil hiding the truth of the law. Read all the gospels and see how Jesus took away the veil of the old testatament as seen in my first response above.

Those in Christ will see the same Old Testament scripture and read it with eyes of understanding unlike those whose minds are so blinded by the flesh their hearts are full of dead mens bones. That is why for example a man can think all sort of lustfulness and have practically raped a woman in his heart but even though he did not do it physically he will say he did not break any law. Ofcourse, he has broken the law of the Spirit even if he may be blameless according to the letter. This is what sin takes advantage of and use to make him fall efentually for as a man thinks in his heart so is he. That is why Paul could say the Law is Spiritual (Romans 7:24) and He serves the law of God with His mind but in the flesh He is serving the law of sin. (Romans 7:25).

Jesus was also vehement about people who turn the traditions of men against the word of God. That was why Jesus had to explain to the two guys on the way to Emmaus beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, interpreting to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning and referring to Himself, as they knew the law and looked at it but could not really SEE it.

When Jesus said He did not come to abolish the law but fulfill it, He was simply telling us that He came to fulfil the law in it’s righteousness and Spirit. (Romans 8:3-4). It is all HINGED ON LOVE. Read love to all laws and youbwill realise the intent of it.
Let no man think being in the grace of Christ is much easier than under the law. It means both your SPIRIT/MIND and body are aligned to God’s will using His mercy and grace to constantly help us. It far from absolves you from doing right and good unlike many think. It is even much harder as it is possible to do unrighteousness by a simple thought. That is why we have the Spirit to help us when we yield to Him.

God bless.

No man will go to either hell or Heaven for keeping or not keeping the Sabbath. As a matter of fact, the day we worship God is immaterial, as far as we worship Him in spirit an truth. That's the ONLY accepted condition for true worship.

Apostle Paul clearly handled this matter in Romans 15 and Col 2. I advise we study them with an open mind. Shalom
Is sabbath keeping part of the ten commandments- the moral laws of God? If yes, then you sin every time you break it! If you should not kill or steal or worship any other gods, I wonder why you think you can break the sabbath. God hate disobedience. If God can banish Adam and Eve from Eden for eating just a fruit, just imagine what he would do to you, if you don't give Him the worship He demands. Satan have been competing with God for worship for ages and that's why he created a counterfeit sabbath. The end time battle is centered on worship and when the time is ripe, anyone who worships on sunday is worshipping the beast and his image. Only those who truly worship God and keep His commandments will be saved.
And Apostle Paul? He kept the sabbath all his life. And dont ever confuse sabbaths to the Sabbath of the Lord. Yearly sabbaths like the pentecost and passover are different from the weekly Sabbath. The law pertaining the Sabbath of the Lord is written on stone tablets and kept inside the Ark of covenant, while the laws concerning the ceremonial sabbaths are placed outside of the Ark. The former is for eternity, while the latter is being nailed to the cross.

{Galatians 4:21-26} Tell Me, you desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law?
For it is written that Abraham had two sons; the one by the bondwoman, and the other by the freewoman. "But he who was of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and he of the freewoman of promise, which things are symbolic. For these are the two Covenants: the one from Mount Sinai which gives birth to bondage, Which is Hagar-for this Hagar is Mount Sinai Arabia, and corresponds to Jerusalem which now is in bondage with her children, "But the Jerusalem above is free, which is the Mother of us all.
So those that stay's under the law, is of the bondwoman, and those who are free from the law, is of the freewoman..
Tithers, you are under the law..
