A friend of mine who is 22,has complained bitterly concerning this issue Of her not being able to get a man of her own simply because she is still a virgin. So I tot about it and said to myself why don't I write on this a little and also share with nairalanders to see what they have to say. In our today world people take sex as their god,something they can't do without..I think virgins should be respected for keeping their self for the right man,which happens to be their future husband and on her wedding night be circumcised by her husband.. Nairalanders what do u have to say? |

Is she ready for marriage? Is ur friend an asset that will easily attract her kind? If she wants to get the right man, tell her to maintain status quo and clinge on the driving force that has kept her going as such and pursue her carreer. God will definitely reward her for keeping her self pure all things being equal. At 22, is she looking for a husband or a boyfriend? if she knows her worth she'll keep herself for the right person. she must disengage herself from bad companies and friends that will make her feel she is odd. she must keep her virginity. it is of great value. Truth is, most impatient boys are not husband material. Remember premarital sex is sin against God. If she is not born again, please tell her to do so and associate with serious christians. she'll get a decent man who'll appreciate her in the long run not someone who will use and dump her. Usually a man who is ready to get married,I mean settle down would be thrilled to get a virgin,would even boast abt it to friends,but a guy still flexing around will not have dat kind of patience or self control,except for some unique few,so ... There are load's of great guy's waiting to devour virgin's and as well great guys waiting to date and marry a virgin,Why I call them great's is because they actually not a bad person. But they roll with bad groups where they are advised that virgin's are sweet to devour and they just want's to be named as successor's to such innocent ladies. Nigerian culture we appereciate virgin's and we adore them unlike abroad where most people can't remember who disvirgined them,some even specifically ask a friend or random dude to disvirgin them unlike nigeria ladies! 90percent of nigerian ladies got disvirgined before marriage by her 'boyfriend' whom she is in love with and gave it to him and surely does it because she was inlove and the remaining 10percent's are molested or raped. Yoruba even supported it by saying after wedding night and u realise your wife was a virgin,u clean her blood with a white cloth and the next morning sends the white cloth to the ladies family with more gift and load's of praises for the parent's and the parents would be proud of there daughter. My candid advise even if 1million guy's come's and ask for sex before marriage and she refuse's and they breakup she should never cry when they breakup with her for sex she should instead get drums and dance that God reveal the eye's of a devil to her before she fall's, I have personally dated about 7 or 8 virgin's and I have NEVER opened anyone of them we brokeup on other issue's and the lucky me is also in a relationship with a virgin again...So tell her!! What I'll suggest here is that she should change the company she keeps. If she has decided to maintain her virginity (which is a great thing), then she should "roll" with those who share similar ideals. Am 100% sure there are guys out there willing to maintain a "non-sexual" relationship. 2 Likes |
