Am just coming back from Yabatech now, all the heavyweight guber contenders are Muslims and they are all in APC.

Yorobass from the far-flunged of Osun, Oyo,Ogun have succeded in relegating the indegenes to the backyard of political relavance in their own state.
They wanted to use the opportunity to corner lagos diring the Confab but Lagos delegates rejected them and all their evil plans.

All Lagosians care about is competence and qualifications to do the job, not religious bigotry and qualifications.

Where are we today with our useless, worthless, corrupt and incompetent Christian/Muslim clowns in Abuja?

The front runner in Lagos today is A christian, the state Governor and the one before him are both is married to practicing christian women.

Tinubu appointed Ben Akabueze who is still a major cabinet member in Lagos state regardless his religion, he was picked because of his qualifications and ability to do the job.

You own states are full Christian governors so please tell us what what they have done to improve your lives.

After 16 years in office, please show us one single classroom any of them built.

After 16 years in office, please tell us the last time they started or commissioned any project even thought the collect taxes and allocations..

Beats me why you people worry so much about about other people than your eroding, backward and no progress states full of incompetent and non productive losers you call leaders...

When Tafawa Balewa was murdered by Christian Ibos, a Christian Ironsi took over. When another Group of Christians Murdered Mur'tala Muhammed, a Christian Obasanjo took over. Same with M.K.O's and Yar Adua's deaths--- Christians took over.

If the deceased were Christians, I bet ---based on their attitudes these past few years--- they'd have insisted a fellow christian (no matter how dull, ignorant, or unqualified) took over.

Nigeria never had a religious divide as bad as this until the South East became very vociferous with it, especially with GEJ encouraging on the sidelines. The North and South East are very intolerant of others's religious beliefs.

The Southwest should make sure aliens do not indoctrinate her society with alien practices of hate, bigotry, hypocrisy and intolerance as is seeming to lately be the case.

P.S: Instead of preaching bigotry and intolerance , Mr.Magnus Atilade should go take care of his wife (the High Court Justice) and family he abandoned for a much younger woman. His attention is needed by his unmarried 36yr old daughter that went crazy a few years ago because her fiancee fled with her best friend (and moved into a house he made her furnish in hopes that she'd be the one living there with him).

Well said.

You guys are still on this religious thing. Religion is a disaster. Young generation do not be passionate about what destroyed the older generation and Nigeria. If you all read the book, Protocols of the elders of Zion, you will realize that you are all puppet who will eventually destroy each other. Change starts with you and not your tribe, religion or circumstances.

It doesn't matter. In the interest of fairness and to create a level playing field, a non-ibo muslim should be made Governor of one of the SE states to prove to the world Ibos are not the intolerants the rest of the world takes them to be.

Anyway, most christians in Lagos / southwest are just church-goers or christians by name...they are probably more interested in their business than politics.

Its really a bad time!!
God help us!!
Far back in 1946 the young Ahmadu Bello told Awo and Zik that the only way he could work as one with them as one nigeria was for them to accept his Prophet mohamad.
Religious Politic is Islam defined.
In kaduna, there are more christians than muslims, Same as gombe, taraba, adamawa and nasarawa, kogi. But are there plans to have xtian govs there now?
Christians are sidelined in kogi as if they are minority.
Its not funnie!

who are the ibos?
I only know of Igbos.

Before what you wrote can be a reality, substancial population of non-Igbo muslim should be living in SouthEast and be ready to compete with Igbos in all ramification.

I stand to be corrected a city as big as Onitsha don't have more than 5% of non - Igbo population.

Did you expect the southeast Igbos to import a non - Igbo muslim to come and govern them on the ground fairness?

It does work like that dude.

I know there are Igbo muslims but their population is negligible. In fact have not come across any Igbo muslim.
Northerners in Aba are not much to make any change politically.
The only group that commands a substancial population in southeast cities aside Igbos are the Akwaibomite, thanks to its proximate to Aba. And me and you know that they are predominantly christians

The bottomline is, we should make religion personal and totally avoid it in our politics; it would consume us all if we keep making it a "spice" in our politics cool cool cool

100% of PDP governors in south east are Christians. Why not balance the equation over there too?
Check out AD/ACN candidates in all SW states since 1999. They have not islamize South west since 1999 with majority of the governors being christians.

Listen, 5% is a huge population. That's simply to say, admittedly, Onitsha is now confirmed to be a no-mans land and Muslims have a right to be represented at the highest levels of the state. If Ibos aren't bigots they should allow at least one Muslim Governor in any of their 5 states, that way we will now be able to identify which region is really the problem in Nigeria.

I'm thinking Enugu or Abia should have Muslim Governors. What do you think?

Go and be quarantined for LassaFever

There has been a fresh outbreak of Lassa fever in Oyo state. This comes barely one week after Nigeria was officially declared Ebola-free. The spread of the hemorrhagic fever has been confirmed by State Commissioner for Health, Dr Muyiwa Gbadegesin.
Gbadegesin, who spoke to journalists in Ibadan, said there has been a confirmation of no fewer than 10 cases of Lassa fever in the state, three of which came in from another state. He reiterated that the government was in total control of the situation.
“We are already working to bring it under control. We are doing the best to curtail it. We have what it takes to manage it very well. I only want to appeal to our people to be very hygienic and when they feel that something is wrong with our system, we should go to the hospital for proper diagnosis of their sickness and treatment,” the commissioner said.

Infact it is the yoorobas that are bigots.
Considering the huge population of Igbos in yooroba states of Oyo, Ogun and Ekiti, I think it is high time the yoorobas in those state should vote in an Igboman to be their governor.

Islam couldnt penetrate Igboland when they were running over their neighbouring nations is it now that they will make any reasonable inroad.

The Yorubas are bigots but they accommodate you in their land while you can't do the same for them on yours. They put you as representatives in their Governments while you can't do same for them. You go to their land and try to claim it by calling it "No-man's land" while yours is a no-go area.

I think your understanding of 'bigot' is a little skewered.
