November - The Month of Strengthening

Luke 22:41-43 - And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me:neverthelessnot my will, but thine, be done. And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
Luke 22:44 - And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
Struggling for victory. Wrestling for something. Working hard, breaking the limits for victory. He wanted to win. He had to go through the pain as it were. He prayed more seriously for what was in front of Him and His sweat were like drops of blood. He agonised for victory. There appear unto Him an angel from heaven strengthening Him.
He told them to pray along with Him and made this statement in that regards...

Matthew 26:41 - Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Jesus told them to pray because the flesh is weak and will make you not to do the right thing. It will call for attention. There was temptation coming. They were about to flee when the Master is arrested but they didn't know it. He told Peter that satan wants to sift him as wheat but that He had prayed for him. Pray that you enter not into temptation.
He knows that you want to do big things for God but the flesh is weak. Pray to be strengthened.

This is similar to what I shared in August 2013, the month of strengthening, this month is different. This month of November is the month of strengthening.
There is strength for the long journey ahead. It's a hard journey.
1 Kings 19:7-8 - And the angel of the Lord came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee. And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God.
He went in the strength of that food for forty days and forty night. It was not a mere meal, it's the word. You need strength for this journey. Your role and God's role for the purpose for your life.
As you go in this journey, there will be battles to fight. Conflicts of life and you need strength for these fights. The spirit of God is preparing you.
2 Samuel 22:40 - For thou hast girded me with strength to battle:
them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me.
Jesus was strengthened for the battle He was going to face. The angel came in the place of prayer. This is so important. This kind of strength is spiritual and comes via prayer. It's not from your physical strength or from your kitchen.
You have the energy for it. Trouble is coming and you've got to face it. Don't confess negatively.

Thirdly, you need strength for the times. We're in special times in God's Calendar.
Daniel 10:14-18 - Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days:for yet the vision is for many days. And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb. And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips:then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength. For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me. Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me.
What caused his strength? It was what he saw in the vision. These are perilous times. There's so much to learn about the times we are living and you need strength for these times.
This is what we are going to do this month. Every Friday of this month, beginning from this Friday, we will fast and pray all over the world. Already, pastors are doing it, but, all of us will do it. And then, we will go to church for prayer. Let the pastors arrange for this throughout the month of November.

Stated below are Prayer Points sent by our man of God let's ponder upon them the Whole day: DRAFT: PRAYER GUIDE FOR THE FRIDAY PRAYER AND FASTING

1. Pray for the furtherance of the gospel in your city and country where you live. That the Word of God will continually grow and prevail like never before. That the word of God would have free course and be glorified. Pray that the knowledge of the glory of God covers your entire city and country as the waters cover the sea.

2. Pray against every mechanism of evil, violence and wickedness. Declare that they are brought down and dismantled in the Name of Jesus. Declare that every perpetrator and sponsor of violence, wickedness and all forms of evil be brought to book. Declare that righteousness prevails continually in the City, State and Country where you live and in every stratum of the society. Declare that the forces of wickedness and evil will be completely obliterated from the shores of your country and from its polity. Declare that peace will prevail.

3. Pray for all our brethren around the world. Declare that the Word of God will dominate their thoughts, actions, words, etc. Declare that they will always talk the Word, do the Word, act the Word, work the Word and continually experience the victorious life in Christ Jesus. Declare that they walk in the consciousness of the transcendent life in Christ; that they continually live independent of the principles and forces of this world.
Acts.20:32, Psalm 27:1-3, 2Corinthians 2:14, Colossians 2:20, Galatians 1:3-4, 1John 4:4

4. Pray that all our brethren will triumph gloriously over the peculiar challenges that they may be dealing with at the moment. Declare that they are marvelously helped by the Spirit of God. That they always walk in the consciousness of the Spirit of dominion that is resident in them. Pray that they be anxious for nothing.
