I remember a brief conversation shared between a foremost leader of our party and a notable human rights activist. Immediately after the declaration of results on the 10th day of August, 2014, the said activist called to congratulate the said leader of our party and the leader said “Our party won the election”. The activist promptly retorted: “No, your party did not win the election. Ogbeni won the election.”

A leader who only cares about Muslims governing the state. Imagine him even specifying that the Muslims want a person should have a Muslim wife, is that the kind if thing we should be focusing on? A real leader would be discouraging such nonsense instead he and Aregbeshola want to turn Lagos to Islamic brotherhood abi. I am very disappointed in the way the some of these Muslims are acting, that statement shows that he is fighting for a selfish adgenda and that adgenda is amount having a Muslim candidate and one with a Muslim wife he is no hero except maybe to his fellow Islamists

Tinubu is imposing candidates same way Obasanjo did during the last election, but Tinubu candidates are performing excellently well compare to the likes of T.A Orji, Emmanuel Oduagan, Martin Elechi, who were imposed by Obasanjo PDP. so if Tinubu can continue imposing candidate like Fashola, Oshiomole, Aregbesola, Ibikunle Amosun, Fayemi and the rest then I don't have any problem with that. I will gladly vote who so ever he present because so far he has been imposing the very best candidate.

Yea I understand what u mean but I think what affected him was the introduction of fayose on a major party w hi ich must've made people who would've naturally voted for him to change their minds seeing he had little money for rallys and no big party hype surrounding him.

With the apc hype and machinery behind Bamidele, I believe he would've trounced Fayose

Muiz Banire has made a very important point i always think about. Political accountability should be to the people and not to Political patrons. Good governances, service delivery to the people should come first before the interest of some "godfather". In all their actions, overriding public interest should be pivotal.
