I live in New York. I saw betta fishes in a zoo store next to me. You think you can find one in a big city. I didn't bought one 'cause I have enough fishes in my aquarium and I have a pair of them. I don't know what experience you have with the aquariums but you should never use cheap plastic decorations in your aquarium if you want your fishes to live longer. I've lost three generations until I found out the problem. They spread toxic elements in the water from wich the most harmful is the dye. Now I use natural coralline algae from h[url]ttps://arcreef.com/live-rock/coralline-algae/[/url] to refresh the aquarium and bring it back to life. Plus I buy natural rocks and other decorations like wood and marine plants.
