Online importation is a very lucrative business, with the right investment capital and proper understanding of how the business works, you are on your way to making tons of money on daily basis; often, the investment capital is not always a problem for beginners. Baby diapers falls into a category of products that consumers needs on a daily basis, either rich or poor, you need baby diapers, so far you are a nursing mother, this is the most unique feature of this product and basically the main idea behind the importation business; importing products that are of use to an average Nigerian; poor or rich. Getting the products to the right customer is never an issue of concern, basically because the market is readily available everywhere, at a relatively cheap price, you can sell off your imported baby diapers at wholesale price to supermarkets, stores and retailers within the country, your coverage generally depends on your marketing skills. There already popular brands like pampers, huggies etc. The trick is in offering affordable prices, good quality, constant advertising and ensuring availability to meet demand. There will always be room for new products as long as you're able to overcome the challenges @ the initial stage.

In terms of Brand loyalty, I'm not sure our Nursing mothers are actually loyal to any. If the price and quality is right trust them to patronize you.

All I did was to look for street marketers and give to them to sell at affordable price; believe me they cleared my stock in no time

Minimum quantity depends on your bargaining power. You will some seller quoting as high as 10,000 to 1,000,000 pcs but if you can bargain well, you can buy any quantity you can afford.

I bought 200 pieces initially, just to test the market. Then, I went for 1,000........ Just play around with the chinese sellers and talk to them with utmost confidence; I mean like Dangote

It's not like what you see on Alibaba or other biz website translate to import, shipping and clearing. just shipping and clearing will take more than 70% of the cost of goods. when you plus every thing and add it up with your cost then you know that you can not make above 900k from a container of about #9000000.

Dt its new baby pampers dts in sale now.
Went to 1688 to search and saw outrageous prices.
Don't knw if the prices r for a carton or jst one pack of the pampers.
