It is true, when we hear about giant animals; our brain instantly shows images of elephants, apes, cheetahs and the like. But hey, ever seen a cat, dog, pig, cow & other farm animals as big as or even bigger than these? No? Well, you are about to see them and mind you, they are very much REAL! They are unusually gigantic and freaky. You have got to see them to believe what we are saying. One cannot exactly pinpoint the reason behind this unusual mammoth stature. Scientists believe these animals could have shown some mutation over a period which is reflecting in their phenotype. We have compiled these rare pictures. 1. They Coconut crab (also known as the Robber Crab) are the largest living crab in the world. It weighs around 6.6 pounds and its legs span up to two and a half feet.

2 The giant oarfish is the world’s longest bony fish. Ribbon-like and never ending tapering slender body frame.

3. This pig weighs a jaw-dropping 500 kilos. She measured 2.5 meters long, with a waistline of 2.23 meters before she died.

4. This is the world’s largest shark caught in China. It is a whooping ten-metre long and weighs around eight tonne.
5. Chilli the giant bullock, stands at 6ft 6inches and weighs over a ton. HOLY COW! Despite his grand stature, Chilli only grazes on grass during the day and enjoys the occasional swede as a treat.
6. World’s largest pet dog. More often than she intimidates and scares the guests off!
7. Rupert, the unusually big cat. Clearly, she is no ordinary cat, weighing a whopping 20 pounds!

8. This is not a ball of fur. She is an overgrown rabbit with her body completely covered in fur!
9. The goliath frog (Conraua goliath) is the largest extant anuran on Earth. Owing, to her large size, she can jump up to 10 feet in a single bound
10. The Bismarck masked flying fox is a species of flying fox in the Pteropodidae family . See it and you will run in the opposite direction.
11. The Atlas moth is found in the tropical and subtropical forests of Southeast Asia. There is a possibility that it derives its name Atlas with reference to atlas of Greek mythology.

12. Amazonian giant centipede with a length up to 30 cm. I don’t understand units, but I still feel it is too long for centipede.
13. World’s largest Anaconda. Need we say more?!
14. Giant fresh water stingray which weighs about 1,300 pounds and can grow to 6’2”
15. Giant African Land Snail. Ooo. Never seen a snail that big!

16. The big Japanese Spider Crab. Well, Crab may be a delicacy, but after seeing this, you may most likely not find it delectable!
17. World’s largest elephant seal !
18. The largest salt water crocodile. These salt water crocodiles are always on a hunt, pouncing on preys as soon as it spots one.
19. Bunnies are the only animals which cute despite how big they are
