Friends are very necessary. What is noteworthy is you must make good friends that would add value to your life. If you are the type that loves to accumulate friends, you will end up with a lot of drama in your life. Its by far better to have a few good friends that are there for you when in need than having many who disappear when you are in need. Another key is, Do not disclose every single thing about your life to friends. Be selective.

'Friend' is a broad term covering everything from spouse/family to associate/stranger. All 'friends' have a presence in our lives but all need not influence it. Only a handful of friends would ever span the majority of our lifetime; we make friends when young and naive but fall away from as we grow older (= growing in judgement, values, sense etc). There is always something to learn from a friendship- it being a human experience you shouldn't try to evade. Don't be disheartened by bad experiences, consider yourself wiser for the next one.

Many have gone through different things and suffered from the hands of the ones they called friends. But then if you think about it, if you look at someone as a friend and the person doesn't see you as the same then you can't really say it is friendship can you? just like in any relationship the feeling has to be mutual for it to work. So does people that betrayed you in the past were never really friends in the first place or else it was due to mistakes. Friendship I believe is very important in my books and when you experience true friendship you would know.

Let me give you a gist about a friend or should I say,used to be my friend.Whenever we went out together to buy something, she would want me to pay.We used to buy the clothes then,but different colours, yet she would want to collect them from me because of difference in the colour (s).

When she wedded, I gave her a gift and when she gave birth she was asking of something similar to what I gave her, not minding how much it would cost me (I made what I gave to her) because she likes the things I make but prefers taking them for free as if I collect the items for free in the market.I told her to send money into my account if she wanted it and for the past 6 months or so, she has stopped calling me.Being a parasite is different from playing smart.Those who think they are smart always want to cheat but parasites are kinda dependent on their host(s).Don't know if I'm correct sha
