Last knight, the US President Barack Obama made a broadcast about US immigration policy that

*"undocumented immigrant parents of US citizens that have stayed up to 5years can now apply for a work permit that lasts for three years." This is expected to benefit four million immigrants, out of the estimated eleven million illegal immigrant.

*He is broadening a scheme to temporaly legalise those that arrive US as chilren - refered to as DREMERS, which will benefit some hundreds of thousands.

He concluded that "these people are not here for free or easy life, they are here to work and contribute to the growth of our economy and exploit potentials they couldn't at thier home countries."
"They are our neighbours, class mates and friends" he said, He even quote the scripture by saying that "we shall not oppress a stranger, we came as strangers."

But he didn't hesitate to state that "the border is strenghtened against more immigrants," and the "criminals will be deported."

This reform doesn't give anyone citizenship or citizenship right.

This is a reform he uses his executive authority to make, without passing through the congress. He just exercise hi executive authority.
His oppositions - like the Republicans - didn't seat back and watch this, as Arizona Senator John McCain called his action an "illegal power grab."
And the House Speaker John Boahner just said that Obama "cannot be trusted with rule of law, he just encouraged more illegal immigrant as such, he is acting as a KING or EMPEROR."




So, all these APC and PDP quarel is a global thing. That's why PDP doesn't care what APC thinks when they do their things, and APC doesn't care what PDP can do when they backfires! LOL
