Loooolz. Me sef dey wonder.
But according to a mechanic story. He said, the first person that started it actually wrote "for sale" on the keg with a chalk before placing it on the car because he couldn't afford a designed advert board. Unfortunately for him, it was during a raining season. So each time the rain fells, the notice would clean off. It got to a time when he was fed up so he stopped re-writing it and placed the keg alone on the car without any written noticed and he eventually sold the car when the keg was without any notice. So people around him who also wanted to sell their cars employed the method and it worked. Since then, it went viral and became a normal practice among used cars resellers.
