Even before the purported impeachment, the Governor had earlier withdrew the security, aids and staff of the Speaker. Many other lawmakers in the State where harassed here and there. Ekiti Horror Movie is now in every cinema in Ekiti State.

That's just the crude Yoruba accent, nothing more. If you travel to Osun, you go fear the grammar.

OP, are you after his accent or the actions taken by the Ekiti House of Assembly? Well, if it is for accent, listen to Gen Buhari give you Hausa/Fulani version and you will surely exclaim, 'the gods are not to blame' grin.

I don't have any problem with his diction and accent ....people don't have to speak impeccable English to communicate effectively.

However its the shallowness of mind and lack of coherent thoughts that is the problem.

Of course the unintelligent and irresponsible will continue to dominate our political landscape because the process can rarely accommodate Upright, intelligent, resourceful and productive people.....

Voting is tailored to be inconvenient and a do or die affair , elites will find it very difficult to vote during the upcoming elections. Why can't we just walk in register and similarly vote to encourage all to vote? I assure you all only the political class who will walk straight to the voting tables and people who have been paid to vote will have the strength to vote. This will give room for manipulation and godfatherism.

A big shame indeed that such an intellectual state will end up with a Governor and political class that stand for anything but intellectualism and order.

Our current democracy is headed for the rocks, unfortunately there is really no end in sight.

To whom it may concern, the biggest threat to our democracy in Nigeria today is that the elites sit down and watch touts and morons to take their supposed positions in our political sphere. If this is coming from a state that pride herself as the Fountain of knowledge, I wonder what this lawmaker told members of his constituency during campaign. It's so pathetic to have these morons call themselves our leaders. One thing here is ever since a known and unrepentant and former impeached Gov won a re-election in Ekiti, I lost my respect to the resident indigens of that state. They ignorantly ask for Fayose's trouble and now they are getting it in full. Besides, where are the so called traditional rulers who jointly prayed for the return of trouble?

The man shouting on top of his voice shows that he's a retired bus conductor. Calling him an honourable is an abuse of the English language. How can we move forward when we have different kinds of these clowns in various offices across the country?

For the past few days I've been receiving different calls from friends most especially friends that are not from my state asking for my opinion about the "almighty mathematical formula" that happened at the state house of assembly in Ekiti ,my response was a shocker to them. Yes , they did the"right thing" , i support them.
We pretende as if this kind of act is not part of us . During Gbenga Daniel's regime as gov in Ogun state almost this same thing happened, in fact , for almost 2 years the state house of assembly was paralyzed. This year alone, there has been different attempts of such; Edo state , Rivers, yes we all know the story. In fact , during Obasanjo's regime it happened in Enugu state. And the mother of it all was the governors forum,up till yesterday nite NTA still referred to gov Jang as the chairman of that forum . In our country generally abnormal situation is more than normal self . Rember , in all this cases , all sides are free from the arms of the law. Write it down(all things being equal), 2 will still b greater than 26 in this country. Yea , two will impeach, become speaker and deputy speaker and we will all jubilate , celebrate and congratulate them . Its part of the "unwritten" law of our land . Once again congratulations to our new speaker. We love you .

Not about the ascent, why din't i complain about the first guy, did the mad man answer any of the question asked? when kept shouting "Issue of figure, not figure" they have a way of running things in house of assembly, it's unacceptable for a law maker, not a NURTW or OPC, someone representing a constituency, what law can that probably make?

I watched it last night on Galaxy TV. Though the station play it together with the audio, the way the lawmaker was acting made me conclude he was mad.
