Now that he is contesting for Governor, hope he wont be jumping the 33rd mainland bridge in Kano when he finally becomes a Governor?

When you have lawbreakers who see themselves as lawmakers, desperately fighting tool and nail to become our leaders, then there is really hope for the youth and future of Nigeria

IT IS THE OTHER WAY ROUND.
IN CASE HE WINS, HE KNOWS IT IS ILLEGAL TO LOCK PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR LEGAL DOMAIN, SO HE WILL MAKE THIER PLACES ACCESSIBLE TO THEM.

The likeness I have for this guy is just too much. He was born in 1968 and went into Politics at the age of 18 and became a Member of the House of Reps at 35. At 39, he was already the Deputy Minority Leader in the House, the seat he occupies for 8yrs by 2015. By 2015, he'd become the Governor of his State.

The alleged 'thug' was conferred with the Honour of the Order of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (OFR). If I had my way, I'd make sure he's conferred with the Honour of the Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON) at the next National Merit Award. He deserves it since the Award which is meant for Top Political Office Holders like VP and Senate President has been bastardized by the President!

Once again, Kudos, His Excellency, Hon. Kawu Sumaila, the next Governor of Kano State come next year!

Guy what the speaker did is unspeakable this is a man that is responsible for law making in this country (the apex) he was driving towards a policeman blocking his car nd he encouraged reps to push a policeman away . I personally have been arrested by police in my hostel when dey were looking for some cult boys nd later released with apology that they were doing their job nd I understood now if a speaker can do this what do you xpect from ordinary citizens? The man should have walked out so that nigerians will be seeing the mess ups of jona but with what he did he jst showed us he has no respect for the law

I think you are being misinformed here...

The action of the police is no where near justifiable 'cos I presume you as a person would feel bad if your gateman decides to lock you out of your house on the claim of getting an order from above.

Secondly, had it been the lawmakers never made that move to dash into the house at the time they did. Nigerian politics would have taken a totally different turn now.

Now a little education for you my dear; the intention of the President was to keep the lawmakers outside the complex so there would be an avenue to carry out an impeachment proceeding which would remove Tambuwal from being the speaker of the house.

Knowing fully well that Tambuwal who just defected to the APC is being seen as a threat to the so called President.

The police on the other hand are claiming they acted in response to previously given intelligence.......

Now the question is; who gave them that intelligence? If the response to the intelligence was to debar the lawmakers from gaining entry to the house, how did David Mark and some PDP lawmakers find their way in earlier.

Dont you think it would be more appropriate if such claimed intelligence report is being channelled towards the abduction of the 200 Chibok girls.

its a shame. Meanwhile if na ordinary person jump fence u got sleep 4 cell. So it shows that law makers are above the law. The police should have arrested all that jumped the fence for improper conduct. Last I checked its still against the Nigerian penial code.

what those crazy reps did is no different from agberos engaging police in a free-for-all.
I do not know whether to praise the police for keeping calm in front of extreme provocation or lambasting them for lack of robust enforcement of the law.
If you feel that your rights have been infringed upon, you go to court. You do not resort to jungle justice.
If the PDP reps had decided to meet force with force, do you think tambuwal's thugs would survive?

And Tambuwal is no longer a member of the house; no body is talking of impeaching him.

Another Political Bigot and I'm sowi to say; you're a political illiterate because what you don't know is that if 7 can be greater than 19 and 16 greater than 19, then the house section might go on without Tambuwal and they can raise a motion for the speaker impeachment while they lock him out, My brother if you're to choose between being impeached unjustifiably or doing what he has done Which one would you choose Be sincere

Hello, stop spewing what you aint sure about. My questions for you: Are you aware that due to the so-called intelligence tip-off by the police, where they derived reason for their actions-that HOUR Members where screened into the premises, and that APC members perceived that Aminu won't be allowed in, as such, they decided to wait and go in with him? 2-Are you aware that David was equally checked before going in. Guy, I am a Pro-Jona; so, a lot of irregularities going on during his administration is appalling and very disappointing but guess what, i prefer to watch the individual and not the followers. Even as I hate his silence on many wrong ctions in his dispensation, I chose to keep mute esp when it involves Politics, where we have "honourables" resorting to self-help, with so numerous excuses to back their actions...my Guy, Police have never disappoint me in their "actions", because I always expect our Police to misbehave...But, I'll stress that no reason could've warranted the actions of some of the members of HR. I must say, politicians and their ways...smh

Anyway, we all have our reasons for taking our sides and as far as politics is involved, I don't expect anything less.
Just go and register, get your valid cards and come out to vote your prefered candidate on Feb... I sure will cast mine!
God Bless Nigeria and may we get it right someday soon!!!
