I was discussing with some of my friends about rape.
This was the scenerio we are considering, lets assume a guy (maybe 25 years of age) and a girl (maybe 23 years of age) are dating for quite sometime which is known to everybody including their parents.
One day, the girl visited the guy and one thing lead to another, the guy forcefully had sex with the girl.
These are our arguments:
1. My friends said that, "due to the fact that they are dating, the case will be dismissed in police station without investigation if the guy refute the allegation of rape".
2. My argument was that, since the sex was not mutual not excluding the fact that they are dating, there is case in police station.
Please, be the judge or add your opinion(s).

A rape is a rape, so long as the girl did not consent to the sex it is a Rape..irrespective of them dating, he had canal knowledge of her without her consent it is a Rape..he has a case to answer at the court..Though cases like this might be thrown out in this country but in the west he will pay for his crime

According to my jss3 social studies teacher: sexual abuse(rape) is a process whereby [color=green]an adult forces another adult/child or a child forces another child/adult to have sex or engage in any sexual activity against his or her wish. According to the oxford advanced learner's dictionary: RAPE is when a person forces SOMEBODY to have sex with them when they do not want to by using force/violence. Looking at these two definitions, it is clear that "as long as force was involved or a party was unwilling, then it is RAPE". it does not matter if he/she was ur husband or wife, SOMEBODY can be ANYBODY. if you force ur girlfriend or wife to have sex with you against her will, you have raped her and she has the right to sue.[/color]

There re two types of rape
1. Real rape
2. And non-real rape this one is always fun cheesy
The real rape is bad and amu against it and ma mins3 tooo is against it cus is not with the gals constent so is bad and uncalled for

My brother what can I say. Look the Oxford advanced learners dictionary defines rape as the act of forcing somebody to have $ex when the person does not want to. It is also described as the act of destroying or spoiling something or somebody. So my verdict is no woman would want her body and right snatched from her without her consent. Should any human being be subject to such humiliation of rape? No!. With the power vested in me by my brother's and sister's in Nairaland I hereby sentence the accused to be given Ebola water to drink and bath. grin
