lebesgue:Sure it is. The first British slave ship that came to America with African slaves was called "The good Ship Jesus" after all. When good Americans condemned the cruelty of the slave masters the slave masters said they have "A religious right" to do so and they went on giving verses in the Bible to justify their actions. Verses like; Leviticus 25:44-46 “‘Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves. You mayExodus 21:7-11 and even in the new testament 1 peter 2:18, Ephesians 6:5, 1 Timothy 6:1&2 etc. They used the Bible to justify slavery. Christianity was literary tortured into the minds of black Americans and Africans before they pass down the religion to their children(The same can be said of Islam). Little wonder why Chris Rock said "If you're a black Christian, you have a real short memory"… Well Emmalot121, Is that the "Strong christian values" you speak about? 4 Likes |

chy22:Good question. From the observable universe and their calculation we know it comes from the first known explosion that brings about exotic particles and it took place hundred of billions of years ago from a singular point. After the explosion the universe expand and as it cool down different particles formed the comic dust, the building block of the things in the universe. This is reality as the LHC and other space programs have been able to prove them with proofs all rather facts. 1 Like |

lepasharon: would that include Ethiopian Christians, cuz historically Ethiopian church was one of the earliest church ever recorded, even before Christianity started spreading to western Europe? Second point are you assuming all slaves in history were just African Americans? cuz i don't get how an American's interpretation of the bible in respect to his country's history pertains to Africans who were colonized? |

blym4real:Smh... I would advise you reread what I wrote in my previous post and comprehend it before asking what has been answered. Nobody created the chemicals. They existed from the right conditions after the first explosion that gave birth to the universe. |

davien: You see, people like him believe America is a cesspool of fornication and depraved debauchery. We all learn how to perform home abortions in the 5th grade, for our final graduation exam, they force us to have homosexual sex, and by the time we enter college, we're expected to have done seven different kinds of drugs, at least. Because of science. And feminism. There's so much sin in this country, the air just smells like brimstone all the time, especially when it rains. And global warming is the direct result of America's increasing proximity to hell. That's what he meant. Modern day Sodom and Gomorrah (didn't I just say this, plaetton? laraxxx: Kai! Look the products of Nigeria's failed educations system giving their moronic opinions. The only one that gave the slightest bit of sense in his responses is the man wearing red T-shirt (with "Timber Life" imprinted). All the others are just the purest kind of fuuktard that we see fill Nigeria. And the tall guy in blue shirt with brown stripes seems definitely a poof. 5 Likes |

Emmalot121: You make some sense but this is where a lot of folks get it wrong. Whether religious or not, doing good has always been voluntary and an act of free will. You make it seem like being a christian makes one a better person, wrong. History has shown over and over again that the greatest crimes perpetuated against humantity and mankind were committed under the guise of religion. If believing in God makes one a better person, this world would be a better place, pastors wouldn't commit sin so blatantly and hide behind the scriptures, and Nigerian would be Paradise on earth. Alas this isn't so. How ironic is it that the most well-rounded, balanced, and morally upright people that abound are typically atheist? This is so because outside of religion, right and wrong exists, good and bad exists. These are principles that are real and people live by but you do not understand this because your brain is so close-minded that you refuse to understand that good people can exist OUT of religion. Open your mind bro. 6 Likes |

blym4real:The explosion was caused by unstable nature of activities within it. The right condition is the particular point in time when the different chemicals forms from the old exotic particles went through processes that give rise to another. For example, water is the combination of 2 atoms of hydrogen and 1 atoms of oxygen. What exploded was a powerful unstable singular dimension. 2 Likes |

blym4real.... The big bang isn't an "explosion" in the classical definition...in fact "big bang" was an insult given to the theory by steady-state theorist fred hoyle.... It was now adopted as a sort of "in your face" when converging evidences supported an expansion of the universe from a singularity. Everything said to exist(including space and time) were traced to being once emerged from a singularity(an immensely dense and small state).. I could go on but I need to know if you understand any of this or not...or might I direct you to a series of simplistic videos explaining the theory? |

all4naija: Except you are thinking like a typical atheists who assume that every person who believes in a creator are less intellectual than you guys. I will really assume you have identified problems with the explanation you gave, in addition to no explanation you gave me. Your explanation failed to explain where those materials that exploded came from, neither did it explain what conditions caused them and where the conditions that caused them originated from. About reality and evidence of occurrence of such explosion, you can not possibly tell me that is a prove. No body recorded or observed the formation of earth so how is that a prove. Also no-body has been able to put up a hypothesis on this issue and observed it in the laboratory either. Get one thing clear though, my acceptance of the existence of a creator is purely a belief and I recognise that. But you should also accept that you acceptance of no Creator is also a belief and has got noting to do with science. That said, for your explanation of earth formation to stand you really need to think about this six points 1. Cosmic evolution: You need to explain how time and space came to be, because without time and space where then did the big bang happen and you proof is really a lie. 2. Chemical evolution: You really need to prove how high elements i.e metals and others originated from hydrogen, if you can not fill in this point then what chemicals exploded. Remember chemical reactions need catalysts, and hydrogen on its on can not cause such explosion. 3.Stellar and planetary evolution: no body has documented the observation of star formation nor planet formation. And if you explanation is true then considering the trillions of stars we should have observed the formation of one. 4. Organic evolution: No laboratory in the world has observed the formation of life from non-living thing, evolutionists and even atheists them self have no clue on how consciousness evolved to its level today. 5.Macro-evolution: Assuming for some reason the above 4 occurred without a creator, no body or lab have observed the change from kind of animal to another. Believe they have really tried to get this done but still noting. 6. Micro-evolution: Lastly, all the things said and claimed by evolutionists and atheists has been based on this one factor. The truth about the matter is calling this micro-evolution is delusional, this is simply Variation and they are observed. However, a life form can only produce its kind, people often use zebra and horse as a prove this can lead to macro-evolution but this simply a lie. A horse and a zebra can interbreed which makes them same kind, just like a dog and a wolf. But this is not the problem humans and other primates can not interbreed, so how (you should know what I am getting at). Also remember that most of these kinds that can interbreed often end up with non fertile offsprings. Now they use fossil as prove of these series of events both fossils can not prove that these animals had offsprings and proves nothing. So basically this cosmic explosion is been proved on lie noting more. Please accept it as a belief and that will sound reasonable because there is no proof. I welcome your reply any time though. 1 Like |

blym4real:You are already blabbing because you don't understand what I am saying. The right conditions came about as the first explosion cold down giving birth to different particles that give rise another particles. These are observable processes in the universe. When you split an atom(a particle) you will have another particles and when you split the other particles you have another through a very extreme processes. You need to educate yourself than claiming I don't know what I am saying when they are observed in many labs around the world. You primitive man. There are different chemicals made up of billionth to the billionth of billionth to the billionth in continuation, meaning it is imaginary in number as you continue to split the process getting toward the singularity due to limitation of what is available to man as regard mathematics. Which has thrown god and religion out of the equation already. |

musicwriter: Ok, This is nothing but hoax. Perhaps you think everyone is as dumb as you. Newton never used "advanced mathematics" (and calculus is not advanced to me) to get 2060. He just added 1260 to 800 AD and he got 2060, and he wasn't even sure of the date. Perhaps you should read with common sense before posting rubbish here. Re: What Nigerians Think Of People Who Do NOT Believe In God? by davien(m): 12:19am On Nov 29, 2014 |
blym4real:Okay....so the original singularity is not understood....the expansion that led to the universe is(to a substantial degree)... Hence the expansion is regarded as the creation of the universe... If you have a balloon and make two dots on it with a marker and then inflate it....those points keep moving further and further... This analogy is an example to try to portray the expansion of a 3-dimensional plane in which two cardinal locations never converge but keep moving away from one another... Looking into space...we observe an example of this kind of expansion analogy by the red-shift(farthest visible light) of far away galaxies.. Now....lets say you asked someone who wasn't there to witness you blow the balloon with air and asked him what indicated it ever being inflated.. He'd tell you that when the balloons contents are examined air or a gas is neccessary to inflate it... So how do we know an expansion took place? If the universe emerged from such an immensely dense state we should be able to still observe the heat change or radiation around any point of the universe... Hence we discovered we are saturated by a cosmic microwave background. Should I continue? do you understand all these? |
