Our women have begun sporting pot bellys but nobody beats our grown men that look like they're soon to deliever twins 365 days a year. We are becoming a pot belly republic and this isn't acceptable. I personally believe that the pot bellies that have turned all of our 'leaders' into pregnant women comes from excessive beer drinking, couple with Garri but mainly the beer. We really don't have any promotion of men's health in Nigeria. Young guys will lift to get muscles but it ends there. No matter how good government is, our life expectancy will never increase if we abuse our bodies with excessive alcohol, binge eating and an unbalanced diet. Most Nigerian men will act as if trying a salad or something other than heavy starch (garri, fufu, amala, etc) is an insult but the result is they're insulting themselves by turning into a human shoe. We need to promote men's health. Women are beginning to sport pot belle too but we men are taking it to the next level. |

this unhealthy appearance is more than a look. Someone who can't take care of themselves is showing you open signs of laziness, indiscipline and ignorance. Adults do not need three meals a day unless they engage in a jobs that require a lot of energy. If adults must eat three times, it should be 2 light meals and 1 heavy meal preferable for lunch. Alcohol should be minimised both in quantity and frequency. Men should also purge/detoxify at least once a month to rejuvenate the body. Finally , exercise moderately but consistently, including regular safe sex. 1 Like |
