Sales Representative
We are currently looking for sales representative’s age between 22 to 30 years for an insurance broker to bring business to one of Nigeria’s emerging Brokerage Company. The people we are looking for should have a great work ethic, positive attitude and the ability to sell insurance products to new and existing customers. HND or Bsc in Business Administration or any other degrees in humanities are welcome to apply.

Previous work experience should include sales with quotas or goals and the ability to overcome objections.

Financial Accountant

An Insurance Broker, based in Lagos requires a Financial Accountant

Reporting to the Managing Director of the company, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for hands on managing of the day to day financial operations of the company. 

Responsibilities:
-                      Managing the internal financial accounting and reporting requirements in a hands on manner
-                      Administer and coordinate the activities of the Finance and Accounting departments to ensure that the staff is adequate, organized and properly trained and that all required functions are carried out.
-                      Maintain responsibility for the management of the Company’s financial information resources in a manner which optimizes the use of information within the organization to enhance the decision-making process at all levels
-                      Formulate and implement policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard and enhance the use of the Company’s information, financial, and physical resources; ensure policies and procedures are documented and communicated appropriately.
-                      Analyze all information within the Company’s financial structure and, where necessary, take remedial action and/or make recommendations for improvement
-                      Ensure that accounting, costing, and control information is produced and distributed in a timely and accurate manner
-                      Continually monitor financial computerized and other information systems to improve management information, accounting, and control applications;
-                      Ensure compliance with all government, regulatory, and contractual regulations and requirements related to the financial operation of the Company (e.g., Company income tax, PAYE, WHT, payroll, etc.);         
-                      Coordinate with external auditors in the completion of yearly audit
-                      Coordinate and preparation of annual budgets including monthly forecasts and cash flows
-                      Assist the senior management team in due diligence and integration of various corporate growth initiatives as required. 
-                      Good understanding of SAP 
-                      Encourage and promote a cooperative work environment, both within the Finance and Accounting Departments and the Company as a whole, by positively supporting other employees in the performance of their duties and performing all responsibilities in a cooperative and helpful manner

Qualifications:
-     Accounting Designation (ACA)
-      HND or Bsc Finance or Accounting
-      Experience as a Corporate Accountant with 3 years experience at this level.
      -     Knowledge of management and administrative practices
-     Appropriate general and technical accounting skills
      -     Advance knowledge of Excel, software an asset
-     Proven ability to manage and develop staff
      -     Ability to work well under pressure dynamic environment
-     Ethical and Company minded
- Age 25 to 30 years

Personal Assistant
An Insurance Broker Firm wishes to recruit a competent and reliable female Personal Assistant to join her team. Work functions shall include but not limited to the following:
Responsibilities:
• Assist the Accounts department in the compilation of Staff pay-roll
• Coordinate office services, such as personnel, budget, and records management control.
• Assist Directors  in planning, organizing, and implementing programs
• Make travel arrangements for Directors and Management.
• Ensure office, staff and environment are kept in good condition
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK SKILLS
• Knowledge of the operation of various office and communications systems.
• Knowledge of specialized formats for letters, memos and reports.
• Knowledge of travel budget preparation procedures.
• Knowledge of the principles of office management and supervision.
• Ability to plan, organize supervise and review the work of subordinates performing a variety of functions.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions; read and comprehend written materials
• Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet and database applications; including the ability to create simple functions, tables and forms.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to proofread and edit for grammar, spelling, syntax and style; compute, verify and compare figures; detect discrepancies in information or records.
• Ability to record, file and transmit information.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to plan and project future operating needs in terms of office needs and staff changes.
Qualification:
• Candidate applying for this position should possess a minimum of a Bachelors Degree or Higher National Diploma (Upper credit) in English, Secretarial Administration, Humanities or any of the Physical sciences.
• Candidate should be between ages 22  to 30years
Working Experience:
A minimum of two years post youth service working experience would be required.
