The definition of a tithe is ten percent. The argument I
have with myself is should I tithe before tax is taken
out of my pay or after tax?
As a Christian, I should follow the instructions of my
creator. He says it is good for me to give a tithe so I
take his word for it.

5k is my tithe.
den out the 50k tax of lyk 1k

remaining 49k

should I go ahead and pay 4900naira


jst pay the full 5k as ma tithe as usuall.

Your tithe is 10 percent of your disposable income so I'm guessing it should be 4900

If tithe is real, it should be N5,000. Your salary is N50,000; 10% of which is N5,000.

If you must tithe, then it must be strictly as instructed in scriptures and you would never find tithes of income in scriptures. Monetary tithe doctrine was invented by men twisting scriptures and that's what causes all this confusion of whether it should be before or after tax.
