The Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH),
Lagos, has emerged the overall winners of
the 18th Nigeria Polytechnic Games
(NIPOGA), held at the Federal Polytechnic,
Bida.
The games tagged BIDA 2014, saw Yaba
Tech collect a total of 34 medals, which
comprises of 17 gold, eight silver and nine
bronze.
The Polytechnic Ibadan, took second
position with 14 gold, five silver and 11
bronze while Abia State polytechnic, Aba,
came in 3rd with 11 gold, four silver and
seven bronze.
About 42 polytechnics participated in the
games with 29 of then winning various
medals while 13 did not secure any medal.
