How much time have you had to look into your cholesterol level? Have you considered how much healthy or not your cholesterol level is? Do you even check the types of oils you eat and how they affect you? Too much cholesterol in your blood can be very dangerous for your arteries and can cause many heart problems for you. The good news is that your cholesterols are only gotten from the foods you eat - which you have total control over.

If you can start eating much healthily, you will be able to easily control the amount of cholesterol that comes into your body. If you already have high cholesterol in your blood, here, we'll be looking at some eating habits that can help you lower your cholesterol level as much as possible.

1. Reduce saturated fat.

You have to be careful not to have too much saturated fats in your daily diet. Saturated fats become solids at room temperature and they're largely sourced from meat and dairy foods. If you want to lower your cholesterol level, then you should lower your intake of meat and dairy products.

2. Stay away from trans-fat.

If you want to lower your cholesterol level, then you have to desist from foods with hydrogenated oils especially your everyday snacks.

3. Add enough garlic in your daily diet.

Garlic have been known to lower cholesterol level in the blood. If you have proved to have too much cholesterol in your blood, you should try to eat more garlic and see the wonderful results you'll get.

4. Drink green tea daily.

Instead of your coffee, you should try some green tea early in the morning. This works as an anti-oxidant and helps to purify the blood, including lowering of the cholesterol.

5. Eat plenty of soluble fiber.

Foods with soluble fibre can also help you lower your blood cholesterol. Sources of foods with soluble fibre include beans, carrot and ground flaxseeds. If you want to lower your cholesterol level, then you need to eat these foods more.

Even if you tested for low cholesterol, you can still keep up with this list to prevent any risk of high cholesterol in the future. Prevention is better than cure, and staying healthy should be a habit.
