My Experience At Gtb And Fidelity Bank Taiwo Ilorin by lamash: 9:51pm On Dec 20, 2014
Hello guys, just want to jist you guys my experience at gtb and fidelity.
Well dis two accounts have opened years ago..fidelity was in 2011 4 my nysc allowee and gtb 2008 when I was a student. 2 years ago I misplaced my phone so I lost all the details including my Internet banking Id so I stopped runing the accounts. This last Friday I was uportuned to go to the banks as I was free so I tot okay lemme go to this banks and get my details back so I can start running the accounts again.
Exactly 1.45pm I got to fidelity bank at taiwo, ilorin I went straight to the customer service desk, the lady there did not greet me so I said good afternoon can I check the details of my account please? She said ok & gave me a form which I quickly filled and gave her back.
She then checked my name and told me my account is okay and said have a nice day. I told her "please am not done yet I want to upgrade my account from corpers acct dt was opened 4 me she then gave me a form to fill..when I was done she then told me I can go that my account will be migrated.. I then asked her does she know the account I want to migrate to? She now told me savings right I said no she shuld tell me d products they have..now her facial expression was like can u gerrout of my face..lol so I just sat and looked around..A customer beside me asked her dat wats bvn for..she culd not explain well, I helped her explain BVN to dat person..Once she was done she told me sister am I done with you?..I told her no I need my Internet Id that do they have mobile app at fidelity bank now, her response was "let me check am not sure" I just laffed inside..This lady did not smile through out. To cut my long story short she did not get the info abt their mobile app and I could not upgrade my account. Dissapointed I left there 2.50pm since 1.45pm so I said ok let me go to gtb and retrieve my Internet Id there too.
I got to gtb taiwo around 3pm and I went to their customer service and the queue was long and my legs aidy aches 4rm standing at fidelity bank. When It got to my turn I told them I needed my Internet Id and they gave me a form which I quickly filed and gave the form back to them..then the guy passed my form to the second guy and told him to asist me with my request. This was how I waited for 20 mins with the other guy struggling to open the platform where his to get me my internet Id, this close to 4pm aidy . Later he passed the form back to the guy that he can't open d platform. This same guy that was tellin customers that "but i told you not to queue in front of me, go and queue at d oda side" The guy had to call a lady to come and assist. the lady came and then told me go and meet yusuf downstairs to approve. I got downstairs and I did not meet yusuf there..I waited for another 20 mins and then yusuf came. When yusuf came he then told me I should go back upstairs and meet another person to give me my Internet id and new password, at this point I was vexed & started racking but this guy did not empathise with me but he was even tellin me did I come here to fight wit him? I sha cooled myself down tot shebi na me come wit my two legs abi so i went back upstairs and met the person and it was that person that printed my user Id for me.I filled the form for mobile money, I have not gotten any notification yet. I told them I wanted to change my signature, they told me I have to go to my branch so that it can be faster (fidelity said same thing too)
At the end of the day I got my Internet Id from the two banks and I wanted to log in now but gtb said "invalid internet Id/password " , fidelity said "unable to locate security question"
Am so pissed right now cos I used 2 hrs each at fidelity and gtb 2 get this details and it did not work
I have not entered this banks since 2012 and the reception I got is just too bad..no customer service orientation at dose places at all.
Any1 had an encounter similer to mine?

aburo...no vex too much....i think your treatment was proportional to your account balance and transaction history.
