How did we even get this far?
We have been driven far from God and we don't even know it. We've become so far that we don't really care much about what/how God feel about our actions anymore, in as much the society welcome such. Many have make hollywood, nollywood, ghollywood and other woods a source where they imbibe several habits, lifestyle and mostly fashion Which are mostly against Godly virtues.
In actual fact, these so called woods have been one of the sources of moral decadence in our society and even the church.
We have become so engrossed in fashion that we don't even mind going out in partial unclothedness in as much we look sexy. Our manual says "Whoseadorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price." (1 Peter 3:3-4).
The Church is now driven by gains and what our world long for in order to be relevant and not His Word. This is because we have lost our signs.
Remember, the Bible says "Ye adulterers and
adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God." (James4:4). Have you not become an enemy of God?
We have gone far enough, it's high time we seek His forgiveness and come back to Him in humility.
To come out of this bondage of worldliness,
surrender to the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
Shalom.
