GEJ is NOT THE PROBLEM
GMB is NOT THE MESSIAH

Nigerians are the problem and only them can find a solution.

The born to rule Fulani masters want to keep the country perpetually on using natural resources only and incompetent people as long as it benefit their political elites and not even their own common man (now we have enough Alamajiri's in the North the size of so many African countries)

Education and development of your human resources capabilities without 10 to 1 quota system is the only future. 10-1 quota/federal character of Southerners obtaining average of 200 marks in jamb exams to go university as opposed to average of 20 marks for Northerern to go to university is absurd. So when we are talking of Education between south and north, it is like comparing apples to oranges.

The North will never allow true federalism because there will be no free money for the political elites.

Less than 2 months before a general election, the candidate for the opposition cannot articulate his party manifesto. They want to make it up as they go hoping to hoodwink nigerians just to get power back to the north.

Our major problem is Tribalism and Religion, so trying to put square peg in a round hole.

Both Yar Adua and GEJ should not have been elected because one is sick and a FULANI man that would take orders from Sultan of Sokoto as it is customary for Fulani man because their religion comes first and sultan is the head of the religion.

GEJ as usual is an accidental President from the south and a minority. He has to try to pleased 'our masters' in the North or they will make the country 'ungovernable for him' and they did through religious extremist.

Are there no young intelligent vibrant leaders in this country?

The answer is, yes, there are but the North will make sure we never have one unless is a 72years old Fulani man.

We have 3 Republic and there are 3 leaders from the North, all Fulani men.

2 from the south, one Yoruba who was a crony to the north until his second term.

The second an ijaw man who Was continued to be undermined because he is using 'north' slot for Presidency.

we are just deceiving each other by not rework our unworkable system which slow down some people for people who don't have ambition to catch people with ambition.

I guarantee you that nothing will change in 100years unless we stand up against born to rule.

US not buying our oil is a blessing in the open for us to have an honest debate and change course.

GMB is the past, GEJ is the present but we need a better person for the future.

If u ask me its not far from what hilary clinton said that this present nigeria president has supervised the looting of the oil and its sales proceeds. Its obvious us does not want its money to go to the CABAL, but would buy frm other countries where the president utilizes oil sales to the benefit of its citizen

You stole this from me.

My thought exactly.

Buhari will never eradicate corruption and poverty because he will never implement the following

Resource control

Fiscal federalism

Privatization

Political federalism

Decentralization of Nigeria

Restructuring of Nigeria

Institutions submitting their quarterly activities to public scrutiny

Which are the fastest route to economic diversification , citizenry prosperity and political stability

Would rather have Buhari up there than clueless GEJ who's wasted 6 years

When you have clueless, short sighted leaders the people are the ones who suffer due to the inability of this government to overcome the strong arm tactics of America.

1. Did we stamp out corruption?
2. Did we increase local refining production capacity?
3. Have we fast tracked developing other sources of foreign exchange?
4. Have we fast tracked our local manufacturing agenda?

The answer to all of these questions are a big fat NO. If Nigeria would have achieved just ONE of these things it would have left us in a better position diplomatically, and economically. This my brothers and sisters is an indictment of Goodlucks government. Don't be mad at Obama for putting a clueless child in his place. There is no reasonable explanation to reelect this man. People get the leadership they deserve. Let's hope we deserve better next year!

Nigeria as presently structured can only throw up leaders like Jonathan and Buhari. Pray for a restructuring of the polity instead of falsely laying the blames of decades of systemic decay on the shoulders of Jonathan who has tried more than his predecessors to fast track development in Nigeria.

Some believe that crude oil money shall be there for ever for Nigeria - and they refuse any restructuring to fiscal federalism. All the political mergers and drive to send away the Otuoke man, is to take control of cheap and sweet crude oil money from his backyard.

Is the US no longer entitled to buy or stop buying from any market?

The day crude oil money stops completely, some groups are most likely to pull out of Nigeria.

I think Nigeria needs to hit US back through their multi national companies doing business here. When US stopped buying India and China were waiting to take over. USA can suck up their dollars because Nigeria has outgrown being bullied by them.

Nigeria hit back at US?? With what?. They have taken out our most powerful piece (crude oil).
Tell me nigeria can hit at them with her knights and pawn.....looooool.

It is obvious they are trying to check mate the corruption in the current government and give them no more oil dollar to embezzle.

Now someone reasonable has spoken... They want the govt to do extra job and not relying on oil money, like dey refuse to sell the weapon knowing it will fall into wrong hands and used against the citizen. Exactly wat they want is happening now.. Panicking and find how to raise money aside oil money. Let see if they won't find a way to checkmate corruption to low level.

Am angry with the federal government, they don't invest in science cos without science, no country can move forward, which is why I classify Africa as a backward continent....so if am been rude.
A word is enough for the wise.

No businessman/group will want to invest in building a Refinery in Nigeria until we deregulate the downstream sector and allow the price of petrol to float.Something Nigerians do not want.It would be too dangerous for a Foreigner to invest in something tightly controlled by Government and subject to corruption(petroleum subsidy). This has not been helped by the dormant PIB. Yes, dangote has decided to tread such dangerous waters but he alone knows what gives him the confidence.

Perhaps , I thought about it as well , I imagine the cessation of the is probably connected to
[size=17pt]
Corruption and missing $20B
Corruption within NNPC , bunkering and failure to declare actual number of barrels produced per day
Corruption in Nigerian Army and Arms purchase scandal
Inability to end insurgency / they detected that oil money is being used to fund terror
The signing that gay bill into law
Insulting the US and ending all military relations with US

This may be good for us though
Enhanced transparency and Nigerians being aware of the situation
Forcing Nigeria into agriculture to reduce over dependence on Oil
Perhaps someone will decide to build a refinery so we don't have subsidy scam

Finally , Political Revolution sparked by Nigerians's reaction corruption and failure to provide options / resources like salaries and benefits

South West is not for Buhari.
If you do not know how we play Politics, keep silence and learn.
As you said, Buhari will never do those things you mentioned because the North is White House and London's Tool in Keeping Nigeria under developed.
If a Northener become Nig. President today, USA will start buying the Oil again!!!!
As they are treating Nigeria "Bleep up", so also they are treating Russia "Bleep up" rigth now using Oil price as weapon.

It is time we start making money from our brains by utilising our Crude resourses to make FINISHED PRODUCTS.

I see this USA action as a blessing in disguise.

Time to establish and fund Research Centers accross Nigeria is here now.

If you do not have research centers, you will never get new things discovered let alone making them manufactureable which translates to Large Scale Employments.

People of Nigeria, this is time to shun White-man introduced Laws in Science Field.

The Withes are Mortal men. They are nor God!!

Reasons are:

1. Refusal to grant gay rights.
2. Allowing monumental corruptions unchecked.
3. Giving state pardon to highly corrupt people & and criminals.
