Hi friends. I've finally decided to open a collection. Opening a thread for every new poem is bad and, I can post even my unfinished poems here whereas I can't open a thread for an unfinished poem. So, sit back and enjoy. Joseph1832, oya come and do the needed Ayamlaykorn |

"With blood and rage of crimson red, Ripped from a corpse so freshly dead, Together with our hellish hate, We'll burn you all - that is your fate!". With the above poem extracted from Warner Bros Green Lantern, The Red Lantern Creed, I hereby declare this collection of poems open. |

MARRIED TO THE ARMY Gun cocks, barrel in finger gloves. "Clear!", lady's voice. She clutched the rifle tighter Than ever had a man soldier. Her commanding gait told a story of ignorance. Her authorative voice, a sweet gallery of arrogance. Another crisp salute from Captain Mike. She dismisses him by the tip of a finger. His rough face she never liked And that hot morning they clutched their bags and marched. A thousand eager boots raised the unlucky dusts of earthy shroud . "Conquer, Conquer" They chorused together on a uniform rhythm. And she, alone, around a thousand men, marched to where glory was exchanged for bullets singing. She stared at the pictures of those medal receptions in the office and tried to reflect. She had served the Army her best but her needs she neglects. She once thought the white of a war-zone phosphorus defence burn. Was purer than a man's mind when love was born. So she never cared much. The 5th star on her arm at this moment grew sharp blades, shining grey. They grew longer, longer pierced through the air. Then, it pierces through her heart, that bloody way. Familiar, the way she'd stabbed that last enemy. When sometime ago she had shot her last round. Teary eyed now but wasn't that day, when she looked and found none but dead bodies around. Then she cried, alone, then wondered. If she'd ever have a man. Someone to forget herself in her arms, someone to save her From the haunting memories and fill her cup of unending desires. Then she cried, alone, then wondered. If she would ever her someone to marry. Or she would, be forever married to the Army Ayamlaykorn 1 Like |

Untitled Life; Evolves, into the one, we forever seek. Death; Becomes, the one, we forever meet. Joy; Revolves, around, but we never see. But love; It hurts, my friend, please heed. For mirth; Erupts, if it wounds, ever heal. And gloom; Be yours, forever, when it's scars, again you see. Ayamlaykorn 1 Like |
