so not true. The catholic church does not accept every claim of seeing jesus, mary and what so ever. They are lots of people(catholics) whose apparition have been deemed false by catholic church. The only accurate pictures of Heaven and Hell are the ones painted in the Bible. Those who claim to have seen either of the two may not be able to give the accurate description of what they saw.

I have also pondered on this as I have read and heard of many persons whom have gone to heaven. Well, everyone of them has had a different describsion of heaven and I believe it is for a reason. That not withstanding, there have also been many similaries in their stories. One of which is how the Lord says things and quotes the scriptures to back it up. Or how there is a room of records.... Or how most of them where gone for a shortwhile but returned to see people wailing that they have died for a week or how he takes them to hell first then heaven. I think God wants us to focus on the message and not the stucture. If you compare all their diff stories you will recognise that the nature in which he shows them heaven n hell is the same. Regardless of the structures they see. And who knows heaven might be big enough to have different strucutures all in one.

My friends brother who I know personally was involved in an accident when he gave one of their cars to one of his friends to drive and he was in the car.

Some are genuine and some are not. But if you believe that dead bodies come back to life, then you have to believe some of these stories.

I am quite disappointed with some of the responses on this thread though.it only shows most people are not even interested in the issue of eternity but if u ask bout y women have big butt,u'll receive overwhelming beeps. First it's not true that only pentecostal have been reported to have such visions in fact if u study well,the catholics even have more of such experiences.the names of visionaries are too much to mention here. Secondly most times their visions may differ in quality of content but not necessarily pattern of imagery.for example heaven is constantly depicted as a peaceful, joyful place sometimes not very easy to describe since it contains elements that are outside space and time and hell is constantly horrendous.sometimes the imagery differs depending on the focus or message God may be trying to emphasise on,most times it reflects the personality of the seer involved. Hell is about Money!. The concept of hell and a devil with a pitchfork standing in front of an open furnace, are all things put in your minds by religious leaders and the media for their own personal gain. The more you believe in their concept of hell, the more frightened you become and the more you will pay for the religious leaders to forgive your sins and redeem your souls.

Those persons who claim they died never did, but they had a Near-Death experience, which is a characteristic feature in psychology. A silver cord holds the soul personality, and at death the silver cord snaps and the soul exits the body. What the soul sees afterwards depends on the soul's religious nature while it was on earth. A muslim would see Muhammad,a Christian christ etc. If a person really dies he cannot return, because there'll be no connection for the soul. Those persons who came back only had what is called "clinical death" been in a state of total unconsciousness.

In ancient Jewish custom, a corpse was wrapped from head to foot in white cloth after being rubbed thoroughly with spices. If the person wasn't dead before he would definitely be dead from suffocation after being wrapped from head to foot. And Lazarus was in that tomb for three days.

I'm surprised you say you are catholic.
Before the catholic church will confirm anything as being a miracle they will study the event extensively. They will even invite not one but a team of scientific experts into the matter. There must be proof that the individual actually died and was confirmed dead by a certified doctor. Even after then they have to consider if the event has any spiritual significance before finally agreeing that it is a supernatural event.



So the catholic church does not take miracles anyhow. That's part of the issues pentecostals have with them.
