A global survey has found out that Indians might be the most
addicted people in the face of earth in terms of smartphone
usage. According to statistics presented by San Francisco,
USA-based B2X Care Solutions, 57 percent of Indians cannot
go on their day-to-day activities without touching their
smartphones.

Germans were found out to be the least addicted even though
58 % of adults keep their devices inside their pockets or within
reach for the most part of the day.

In the United States, 98 % of people between the ages of 16
and 29 keep their smartphones in range when sleeping.

An
online poll also found out that 13 % wouldn’t part with their
phones for one week even when given a $500 incentive.

The research also found out that phone repairs are usually
carried out fast enough in the United States as it takes less
than 24 hours to get most devices repaired and returned to
respective owners. In India, Brazil and Germany, it can take up
to eight days to complete these repair services.

China is the biggest spender. 75 % of the Chinese spend $250
and above when purchasing a smartphone while 80 % of the
entire adult population have at least two phones each. These
phones are usually replaced within the time frame of a year.
