I'm gonna make this short as possible. This day last year, I was in Abuja trying to understand what just happened after being denied American VISA 3 consecutive times, I was in Abuja for the 4th interview ...I had just escaped death at hair breadth, the car that overtook us at a very high speed had an accident like a minute away at Lokoja road , all passengers were dead. First time in my life, I saw dead bodies laid right in front of me, I was numb and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw blood flowing. We continued the journey anyway, after the ambulance arrived. I went with my mum's friend who was living at Area 1 in Abuja, for the cross-over we headed to a Winners Chapel, I prayed and committed my interview into God's hands, my prayer point for 2014 was to get my Student Visa - we got anointed oil, my interview was the following day. I was sitting on the chair when I got into something I'd call sleep but not really. I saw someone I couldn't recognize in my dream, I was sitting under a tree in the 'dream' when a beautiful lady came to me, I asked her why I had to be facing so many difficulties, as I'm young, I shouldn't be troubled by people yet. She brought out a bow and an arrow, she told me to aim and shoot something, I pulled the arrow with all my strength and aimed perfectly as I was about to shoot, she held my arm and stopped me, told me that "before you get to where you're going this life, you have to experience setbacks if not, you'd miss your way, example is this bow and arrow if you don't draw it backwards it won't hit where you want" before I could say Jack, she had left... I woke up, prayed, and thanked God for answering of prayers. My interview day came, took my bath and went to the embassy, I was denied again. ...contemplated suicide more than one time, but due to some things I still don't know today, I wasn't successful with the attempts. **fast forward to today** I'm now in Canada, faring well, doing great, have my own apartment, a good paying part-time job, my car on its way, last semester was a great one. ...finished with a first class, I'm in the Top 5% in my class, my name is everywhere in my school. I couldn't have asked for more from God. He's wonderful, all those setbacks actually sharpened me for a new and great life. I thank and appreciate God, he didn't forsake me. I'm using myself as a point of contact for everyone out there struggling with one thing or another, may God intervene and come through for you. 2015 is going to be the best for you, all your dreams will come through in the name of Almighty God.
