Nairalanders, is APC presidential candidate "Buhari" 21st century compliant?

I think he's not 21st century compliant based on his response to questions. The implication is that he would compound issues ( itching to be solved ) instead of solving them.

Please folks, what do you think?

Yes, Buhari is 21st Century compliant and will use 21st Century ideas and solution to solve our curent challenges. He will also see that very competent and deserving Nigerians with integrity head Government programmes and initiative. And if you have a unique ideas, Buhari administration will see that it gets implemented for the good of the nation.

Below is a picture of Buhari surfing the web on a Tablet PC and Jonathan operating a dead Desktop Computer.

Vote for Change in 2015. GMB all the way!

A leader or Mr President, in this instance; requires firm character and hate dishonesty for him to achieve set goals.

On a fair thinking, some leaders had no prior goals and just found them selves in positions of leadership by chance, so their unpreparedness and unfocused glances can be looked at from their antecedents

The aforementioned are vital before we take a good but brief look at a leader being 21st century compliant.

If you have been watching GMB for sometime, you can not help but notice that all he needs to succeed is his God-given hatred on corruption /dishonesty.

If that is with him, no body will need any magic to make "things" work here but the resurrected public institutions will BEGIN to take proper charge of their various CONSTITUTIONAL roles.

A leader doesn't have to be in the lecture halls in Unilag for things to work there but if the VC knows that Mr President does not think twice before condemning corruption( maybe via the Education Minister in this instance): such VC will not order for substandard equipments for the school on bogus amount.

You can relate the above to Electricity and practically every sphere of our National lives...

egift, noted. Though holding a tablet ( or using one as shown on your post ) doesn't completely certify or make him 21st century compliant.

Lets see what others think.

Ofala,

I heard GMB recently mentioned that he wouldn't probe past leaders. Please how correct is that?

If the above ( not probing or calling the past corrupt leaders to book ) is true, then we're being taken for a ride as usual. The major reason most GMB supporters want him is to fight corruption. That sole aim is already defeated if he wouldn't call past leaders that kept Nigeria the way it is to book?

@OP....

Between "probing past leaders" and vehemently STOPPING all present/future corrupt practices...which will you frankly align with?

In our polity, presently; those who are "stealing are not corrupt"... is it then you expect any questions for past thieves?

In all honesty, I think it will be best to stop corruption from May 29th and let's see if the sleeping Eagle, Nigeria; will wake up or not..

**Imagine fuel subsidy corruption alone... the list is endless **

Ofala,

I would prefer both to set the record straight. If the corrupt past leaders are not called to book, then the fight against corruption would never be complete.

There is actually a punishment for every sin, it should be same for corruption. People should be made or forced to reap the fruit they sowed or pay for the evil they committed.

Do you agree with me on this?
