The ethnic diversity of Nigeria 'can never' allow for Islamisation or Christianisation of sort.
Stop seeing Nigerians as just:Yoruba,Hausa and Igbo alone.

This is what I keep telling folks. Ethnicity is stronger in Nigeria than religion. When a Hausa man stabs a Yoruba guy, nobody stops to ask if it was a Yoruba Muslim or Christian. They attack every Hausa man they see in sight. Even Asari Dokubo, a Muslim will die for his Christian kinsman Gej over any Northern Muslim when the die is cast. Ethnicity is what will defeat any planned islamization agenda.

mustymatic:

There is no where on Earth today where the original teachings of jesus is still practiced. Christianity has been distorted. Dear christians rather than give your hard-earned money to some pastor worth millions, give to the poor on the streets who need it
Hahahahaha. Why cry more than the bereaved? Are those christians complaining or burdening you with requests for help after giving out their all to their 'pastors'? I had to wonder the relevance btw what is being discussed and your comment- couldn't connect with the 'brain' there. Or is it mud-slinging? Wonders shall never end.

Bros you need to be in the north and talk to a few northerners before you undertand how brainwashed they are to the concept of TOTAL ISLAMISATION OF NIGERIA... The recent bombings that took place when Yakowa was Governor of Kaduna State is no fluke. why has all bombs stopped since the Governor became a Muslim? ....

By the way, bombs are still going off in Kano, Gombe, Borno and Yobe. Their governors are not Christians are they?

Therein lies the danger! Unfortunately too, some know but are past caring. They just want CHANGE, whatever that brings them is inconsequential.

I wonder, even potential terrorists are screaming "change" as if they have any good intention about that.

Fallacies! One, he has those he used to call corrupt on his team, even as sponsors. Two, that he wouldn't probe or try past corrupt leaders is an open secret and anyone would simply understand why. That much has been said already even by the party heirachy. So what's this talk about jailing corrupt leaders?

I think he should just 'command' the airforce and infantry to 'shoot-on-sight', right?
There are always casualties in war of course, so what difference would, say, the lives of 1 million innocent people make to a country with over 140 million citizens already?
That's what you would do, right?

No oooooooooo. Kill 1 million innocent citizens! I will never do that. Mr president does not need to go that far. As a matter of fact, His job was made very easy when Boko Haram started capturing some geographical locations ( calling it their territory). All He has to do is to ordre the air force to reign missiles upon all their territory. Burn them to ashes. Eliminate the probability of some civilians living in their territory, they have been compromised. Chibok girls have been compromised. Reign fire upon their base. Kill them all. Then finally, release 10 000 foot soldiers into all boko haram attacked states. Let these soldiers roam the streets to eliminate any of them that escaped from camp. This act will reduce them to at most 5%. We will find a way to deal with the remaining 5%.

Fact is Buhari, like most Northern islamic extremists, was sympathetic to boko haram's cause, he toned down his rhetorics as elections approached.

Most islamic countries today were formally a Christian country.

Like play, like play, they turned the country to Islamic country. If you doubt, check, read and do detailed research on the history of all Islamic countries.

Of course this religion card is the ace that Goodluck and his croonies always play whenever Buhari runs. So it is ok to be a Christian country and not an Islamic country? Being a member of OIC doesn't mean shit. Only affords us the opportunity of getting funds from the Islamic Bank, which was the main reason why any govt joins it.

Boko Haram is funded by this PDP govt. We know it.

''The torrent did not say it will not destroy the house. The question is will the owner of the house allow it to do so''?

Buhari Can never ever succeed in Islamizing Nigeria! In fact we dare anyone to try that! It can never be successful! Never! It is like saying Goodluck Jonathan will force Northerners to be Christians. Or tell them not to marry more than one wife because the Bible says so.

However when two elephants fight it is the grass that suffers. The problem is not the successful Islamization of Nigeria. THAT CANNOT AND WILL NEVER HAPPEN!

The problem is that people might loose their lives and property might be destroyed and there will be crises when this is attempted. Christians will resist. Muslims will push. The country might be thrown into another chaos or (possibly) a civil war if Buhari tries this.

I am confident that Nigeria can not be successfully Islamized. This will not happen. My worry is will Buhari attempt this. Because if he does, the country might just explode.

SO WHAT HAS NIGERIA GAINED FROM THIS MEMBERSHIP? SINCE 1986? NIGERIA AND ABOKI MUSLIMS STILL DEPEND ON OIL FRM NIGER DELTA; WE STILL ARE AFFECTER BY THE POLICIES OF U.S OF A's. WE LOOK TOWARDS THEM TO HELP US FIGHT BOKO BOYS OR ATLEAST PROVIDE LOGISTICS; WHEN THEY STOPPED BUYIN OUR OIL WE FELT IT AND COMPLAINED; WE PARTNER CHINA FOR MOST OUR CIVIL ENGINEERING TODAY; THE LIST IS ENDLESS. I'VE NOT HEARD, ONCE, THAT OIC AIDED NIGERIA ONE WAY OR THE OTHER.
SO WHAT IS OUR GAIN? IT IS ONLY BUT THE FRUIT OF BLIND RELIGIOUS BIGOTRY FROM OUR NORTHERN MAXIMUM RULER BROTHER : HAUSA-FULANI.
BLIND LEADERSHIP CAN ONLY TAKE US TO SIBERIA. BUHARI AF TRIED. LET HIM LET GEJ TRY TOO.

Nigerians, as educated as we pretend to be, the same line of division every election year still gets us to derail from the issues - it is either ethnic or religious sentiments!

Wish we could be less myopic and focus on voting for whoever we choose to, base on our own research, true love for the nation's progress and ultimate benefit of the future generation.

After the election, irrespective of the winner, with this mentality, the same set of people would continue to hold the center, and the same set of people would continue to complaint!

Why don't we use this opportunity, of about 6 weeks before the election, presents us, to show these politicians our stance and how we would not tolerate non-performance.

This message, we can pass across to them if we stick to issues and not insult ourselves because of some sponsored campaigns here and there in the name of being rational.

May God help us.
