Culture they say is the way of life and must be respected. Every state in nigeria has its culture which have been preserved for many years but while surfing the internet this morning,I read about benue people's culture but one thing was very strange to me which I thought I should share with you. It is often believed that Benue women are offered to visitors as ''Entertainment offer',i.e the husband gives out his wife to a visitor to have S*E*X with her....Is this one helluva culture that might well explain why Benue has the highest HIV/AIDS incidence in Nigeria?

Such things never happen in benue. The only thing they do is entertain them with food.

I want to let the general public know that the issue of Benue people giving their wives out to visitors as a welcome kola, is nothing but a fat lie.
The Benue man love and cherish his wife and can not offer her as a gift not even to a his fellow brother let alone a visitor.
Am proudly a Benue son. A Benue man can kill his fellow brother because of his wife.
So please let's not be decieved by this story, permit me to say it's a big lie.

To every rumor there is a truth ,the benue peole used to practise that culture of giving thier wifes to vistors...now it has stop the benue peole have so many wierd culture this just happen to be the common one
Since you say it never existed then tye benue people have been accused wrong for years ,as they need to start the culture of giving thier wives out for revenge against those peole who accused them wrong
