The footballer was named the African football player of the year for the 4th straight year today, 8/1/2015. The event which was sponsored by telecoms giant Globacom, saw the Ivorian born footballer beat other African players including Nigerian footballers Vincent Enyeama and Ahmed Musa to claim the title.
