GEJ in his last trip to Lagos for his campaign said that Buhari did not buy a single raffle during his tenure as president. A 10% critical look at that statement makes one wonders what the president was trying to achieve. Was he saying that Buhari should have just decided to buy weapon even if the armoury had more than enough to meet with the task at hand just for the sake of buying? or was he suggesting that he gave contracts to his cronies in the name of buying weapons? I really don't understand what he was trying to achieve with that statement.

Just in case he fails to understand, its not the man with more biros that has the better hand writing. Like one nairalander asked, how then did he drive out the maitaisine group, na umbrella he use??

The man who did not buy a single riffle was able to protect the territorial intergrity of the land, he was able to keep the number of states and LGA he met in tact without losing any part of it to insurgency.

Compare that with the embarrassment of using a pastors jet to go through the back door to buy weapons or the recent loan he took once again to buy weapons or the amount of money that has been used in the last few years of his taking over to fight insurgency without any positive results.

Well, like they say, a bad workman and his tools always quarrel.

That's why a wise president surrounds himself with intelligent, wise and resourceful subordinates who will help him in areas where he's lacking.

Nigeria isn't the only country fighting terrorism but Nigeria is the only country where a president denies little girls were kidnapped for 3 weeks because his subordinates are merely sycophants feeding him lies. Nigeria is the only country where the President's advisers advised him into being duped into a phantom ceasefire by a terrorist group.
