Please people I am a little bit confused on the careee path to follow despite the fact that I studied Industrial Engineering. Firstly, I work in a bank presently but I love to switch to tne engineering or oil/gas sector this is because I still have a passion for engineering. Secondly, I have been thinking of going for a professional course in supply chain management and procurement as I would want to end up in a FMCG or engineering firm, do you guys think this decision is a good start for me? Will it be enough to prepare me? For those who have already been through this dilemma kindly share your thoughts on how you came off it.

Thanks.

I would suggest that, while working with the bank, you should get the supply chain certification (which, by the way, is a very good certification).

Once you've gotten it, you have greater leverage.

Don't stay in a job that doesn't give you joy or fulfilment. But, wisdom demands that you shouldn't let go of this current job until you are well equipped (and possibly have an offer) for the next job.
