My Experience At The Local Government Where I Went To Collect My PVC by sigidporte(m): 8:00pm On Jan 14, 2015
I went to the local government where i registered for my voters card to collect my PVC after reading on nairaland that the collection ends this month and being told that it involves less stress and time. I went there and met alot of people, those screaming at staffs to provide thier card, some waiting patiently to collect thiers, while some were given a form to fill ( i think its for those who misplaced thier old card). I presented my old card and the lady looked at it and told me to wait, i waited till God knows when and she later called me and said i should follow her, thinking we were going for my card, we entered her office and she brought out papers that had names of those that have collected thier PVC and those that have not and told me to start writting down the names of those who have not collected thiers. I was vexed in me and i asked her is that a form of employment or what and she said i had to do it for me to collect my card, even when i told her that i had something before i came there. I then shouted at her and made a move to report her to her superior, it was then that she calmed me and gave me my card, though she was muttering some words which i dont care to know since i've collected what i came for. I came out and started wondering how on earth they will be doing such things and expect people to be gingered to come collect thier cards, no wonder the percentage of the population who have collected thiers up north are more than those down south cos i cant imagine these things happening in the north. People are willing to get thier cards here but it doesnt come cheap. It will take a miracle for Mr president to win convincingly again with what i saw today.

Do you look very young or were you dressing in a teenage like manner. No one cares not try such with a mature man.

Good thing you stood your ground.

It is we in the South that are doing ourselves; imagine refusing to give a husband the wife voters card knowing the wife just gave birth or vice versa when the husband is doing rig work in the high seas.

That woman was an INEC staff. ADHOC staff perform better.

I guess its for her to be seen as a hardworker and be promoted or something like that.

That is the foolish wisdom and sophiscation we are talking about, no wonder someone said southerners are foolish.
You think the 90% PVC collection rate in some northern states is by mistake?
