Concerns About MTN Supporting/endorsing A Specific Political Party Through Adver by dewale2k: 11:59am On Jan 17, 2015
Our attention has been drawn to concerns that MTN is supporting/endorsing a specific political party through adverts on our platform.

The management of MTN Nigeria wish to reiterate that MTN is a non-political/non-partisan organization.  Our mobile advertising platform is available to various business organizations and other entities including all political entities on commercial terms. We also monitor our VAS providers to ensure that their services and offerings are non-partisan and non-discriminatory.

Any adverts appearing on our platform does not represent MTNs support for or affiliation to any particular entity.

It's just business, It's just an advert.

dewale2k:

Generic PR damage control response.

MTN truly supports no party in particular HOWEVER like Femi Fani Kayode would sing praises and beat drums for the higher paying political party.

MTN is an institution fueled on a combination of greed combined with unethical practices and as such see no wrongdoing no matter how ungodly their decisions against consumers seem.
