I don't support drug trafficking, but I dream of the day where Nigeria's government will make effort to ensure Nigerians don't get executed in every country of the world. "If you execute a U.S citizen, there will be consequence". If you execute a Nigerian too, there should be consequence too.

(CNN)—Indonesia has executed six people --including five foreign nationals -- for drug offenses, setting off a diplomatic storm.
Brazil and the Netherlands, whose citizens were among those executed, condemned the killings, and recalled their ambassadors to Indonesia for consultations in response.
The executions, carried out by firing squad
shortly after midnight Sunday local time, were
the first under Indonesia's new president Joko
Widodo.

Citizens of Malawi, Nigeria and Vietnam were also executed, along with an Indonesian woman, officials said. Brazi's President Dilma Rousseff issued a statement expressing indignation at the execution of Brazilian Marco Archer Cardoso Moreira, saying the incident "severely affected" relations between the two countries. She also offered sympathies to Moreira's family. Rousseff "deeply regret(ted)" that her personal appeals for clemency, including one made via telephone, had been ignored by Widodo in proceeding with the execution, said the statement.

Moreira, 53, who was caught at Jakarta airport
with 13 kilograms of cocaine in 2003, was the
first of his countrymen ever to be legally
executed abroad, Brazilian officials said.
Brazil has also been lobbying on behalf of another of its nationals facing execution in Indonesia, Rodrigo Gularte.

At least, we can place a ban on things imported from indonesia or any country that executes a Nigerian.

Why?
Why can't people just obey the laws in Indonesia.
Production, transit, import and possession of narcotics (Law No. 22/1997 on Narcotics) carries the death penalty..
Shikena..

You are not entirely right. Countries carry out such barbaric actions when they know they have nothing to loose. Let them try it with a U.S citizen na. Go and ask Cuba

Not about the guy, mumu. Its about countries having a deep thought on the consequences that will follow if they execute any Nigerian. Its about sending a message we care for every Nigerian. How do you know he got a fair trial? undecided

And a U.S citizen will not commit such a crime as to warrant such a death sentence. We are so spoilt here in naija and we tend to handle most thing with levity hands. The rule is so clear!!! NO DRUG. And the penalty is also clear!!! DEATH. If anyone is ready to do the crime den he/she should be ready to do the time. It would have been sad if the law was made after the crime but the law has been made before the crime.

why are you wasting your time, a country where hundreds die daily from things as simple as inability of paying treatment bills for sickness which the mortality rate is lower than 1% in other countries, death due to child delivery is a norm, a country where no one has been arrested in connection to the youth corp members killed during the post election violence in 2011.
Even if a Nigerian is excuted for other reasons apart from drug trafficking nothing will happen cause even Nigerian at home are worthless to the Government.
